This data/charging cable works perfectly as expected (delivering 3 amps of power, which is 60 watts at 20 volts). The cables transferred data and power as expected, so they work just like normal cables.
The only reason to select this cable over other USB-C 3 amp cables is the 90 degree "flat" connector and ribbon cable on one end. This allows you to plug in a device and then "fold" the flat ribbon connector around the back of the device. I could even see being able to install the ribbon part under or inside a case of some sort (BUT, the ribbon part only extends for a few inches before switching over to the regular cable with a relatively large plastic block, so it would have to exit the case before this transition happened.
The ribbon cable feels delicate, but it is covered with a rubber coating. I can't say how likely it is to break, but of all the parts of the cable, it is the one that feels the most likely to break.
