Thank you! I use a Maton EBG808TEC (Tommy Emmanuel edition with cutaway). I love the way it plays/feels and the electronics are amazing so plugged in it sounds awesome. I do also play a Taylor 414 but the Maton is my go to!!
Hard to say exactly. Mostly, when a song speaks to me I start playing it (over and over) and it begins to take on a life of it's own! Some of the arrangements are closer to the original version of the song (like this one) where I really try and capture the essence of the song (cadence, rhythm etc.) Other arrangements are more influenced by songs i've learned and love (for example Tommy Emmanuel's songs/arrangements. )

With all due respect, the original tune he's covering isn't very hummable either. It's got a great feel though, and Ari brings that out perfectly.
