I realized after making this video that the deals seen were actually pretty solid. Comfrt was running an "end of the year" sale and most of their clothes were up to 60% off. That's not normally the kind of sales they provide. Usually, their sales can be seen around 50% - 40% off which would put their hoodies to around $75 - $80. I still stand by the idea that $65 is kind of pricey for a hoodie, but I wanted to point out that the hoodies are normally priced around $75 - $80 which is even more pricey. Apologies for the minor slip up 🙂 NOTE: I purchased a medium for both the sweatpants and sweatshirt. I am 5' 10" and I weight 175 lbs.
I don't really know this brand, but having a big discount is a common marketing technique. You set a high price for the item and the customer compares it with the discounted price and it makes them believe that they are getting a good deal on the product. Again, maybe they are not doing these and the discount is genuine. Really good video btw
I 100% agree with you. It's all just marketing psychology. Make the customer feel like they got a good price with a 40% - 50% discount when in reality that's probably near their planned base price. I've seen this is probably 85% of the videos that I have created so far. It's VERY common. But I guess it works because companies keep doing it. Thank you for the kind words 🙂 It means a lot!
@nicholasprice4103 That's where my head was at as well. There are plenty of other more reputable and established brands where I can pay less for the same type of product.
Thank you! The waffle knit lounge set does look much lighter. I'll be over here sweating in my hoodie and sweatpants 😅 but they do come in clutch on cold nights
Yours looks way tighter than all the ones the people are wearing in the ads. You’d probably look more like them if you’d gotten a Large. Also the preordering thing saves you money but then they don’t ship it out for 3 months. There’s entire threads on Reddit where people say they never got their preorders, and don’t recommend buying that way. Also they use filters to alter the way the colors look in the ads. They crank the saturation up so the coral looks neon orange and Sky Blue looks like a vivid teal in the ads but it’s actually almost gray.
I got a medium, but I agree with you. The ads show they are super baggy. Mine seemed only slightly baggy. It's not bad, though. Yeah, I didn't want to pre-order. I don't see the point in waiting for 3 months... literally 1/4 of a year for only like $20 cheaper. I never understood that. I've never heard of people not getting their orders. That's bogus if true. Honestly, I saw that saturation filter you're talking about on their website. Alejandra and I were going to get the blue color, but the photos were showing two completely different shades of blue... we didn't know which we'd get, so we passed on it.
@ I saw the new blue color in the ads and it looked like bright teal. I got excited but then I went and found that color on their site and it just looked gray. So I asked about it and they said “it will look different depending on the light” so I went on RUclips and found people who bought that color and it just looks gray. Glad I didn’t order it based on the ads
@ it doesn’t actually. They just have the influencers use a vivid saturation filter or edit it after they record it. It’s literally false advertising. The “looks different in different lighting” is just a leagalease disclaimer they use to cover their ass.
I knew comfrt's tagline on mental wellness is bullshit. there's no way a generic hoodie could do that. I just want one that's comfortable so hopefully this is the case. I opted for the pre-order and delivery in April.
You'll save good money on the pre-order, but it sucks that people have to wait 3+ months for it. And I agree. I found it fishy that all the paid influencers claim that it helps with stress and anxiety, but their website admits that it is not proven to do so. Seems like tactical marketing on Comfrts part.
You have to go with the pre order option to save a bunch of money. I bought 4 sets (8 pieces total) and only paid $178. For 3 sets it's around ~$145. Their prices did go up this year and it even mentions that on their website.
If you have the patience to wait 3+ months, then I agree with you. I still don't fully understand why it takes 3+ months to "pre-order" an existing product. That part is a bit unclear to me
They got sweatpants at walmart for mad cheap. I doubt paying too much for sweats is good for your mental health unless you have esteem issues and spending money makes you feel good.
@AdAuthority can you tell us if they have a factory or they use a blank such as Bella canvas or next level, it should say that in one of the labels...thank you
Its way to much polyester first i thought maybe its the lighting in the pictures but for that price you can get better weighted clothing. Another one is the stitching is off for this price range a Champion Hoodie would be better than that. There are RUclipsrs Iron Snail who give good reviews for clothing items. 51% Cotton, 49% Polyester Machine wash cold Wash with like colors Tumble dry low Do not iron
Yeah, I personally don't even feel like this is a weighted hoodie. It feels like the same weight as any other thick hoodie. Yeah, the stitching coming loose was pretty disappointing. I've only had this for 3 months, and it's unraveling 😬
My friends and I that have ordered them for travel or for times when we are under the weather and need something soothing absolutely one hundred percent love them and wish we had found them sooner. Love love love mine.
Yeah, I feel like they stretch the truth about how the clothes can help your mental wellness. Kinda sus. You can find just as comfy clothes for cheaper elsewhere.
I mentioned that I was wearing a size medium in the video, but you are correct in that I failed to mention my height and weight! Thank you for pointing this out to me! Great catch! I'll update my pinned comment to let others know 🙂 thank you! I'm 5' 10" and I weigh 175 lbs!

Loved how fast and simple this review was
Thanks, I appreciate it! I try to get to the point and keep things simple while trying to be entertaining.

For that price and quality control issues I’ll just stick with Under Armor! Never had an issues with their products and they last for years!
@nicholasprice4103 That's where my head was at as well. There are plenty of other more reputable and established brands where I can pay less for the same type of product.
Thank you for the review! I did order the waffle knit lounge set. It arrives tomorrow. I was afraid the sweatshirt/pants would be too hot.

Definitely saved yourself a headache. But how could something look THAT different in a photoshoot light room?? Just seems fishy to me.

@@TheDreadedZero 100% agree. Just like how they use the influencers to make baseless claims that these help with anxiety and depression.

😅 Walmart sweatpants probably do the same job, if not better. You don't need to spend this much on these imo
Can you checl the tag and tell us where the clothes are made?
Yes. They are designed in the USA (idk why they had to share that) but made in China
@AdAuthority can you tell us if they have a factory or they use a blank such as Bella canvas or next level, it should say that in one of the labels...thank you
@@DavidSotoOficial There is no additional information on the tag in terms of a factory, unfortunately.

Thank YOU for watching and commenting 🙂 I love the engagement and community!

I agree. I also prefer a little spandex added for stretch.
Love the review, but I don't believe in the product. As a very feminine woman i love zip up hoodies. Therefore, back to Walmart I go 🤣🤣😂😂😂

Weird to do a review and never even mention the size you are wearing or what size your normally wear or ur weight/height etc
