  • As we made our way from Rotterdam to Brussels, we wanted to stop in Antwerp. A city neither of us had explored, and one of the few that hadn't been researched before we added it to the itinerary.
Most people know the city of Antwerp because of its notoriety as a diamond trading hub, which we hoped to see.
Bard did a great job at finding us parking, suggesting ways to spend the day based on what we listed as interests and made an easy to follow list for the day.
Our own mistake was in not thinking about the time. After a late start in the day, we got into town at about 4 pm. By the time we parked and walked to the Grote Markt we wouldn't have time to walk to the diamond district before it closed up for the night.
We spent the rest of our time in town walking around the beautiful shops and finding somewhere to get some dinner. We enjoyed music from street performers near the old cathedrals and basked in the evening sun before moving on to Brussels.
Overall, the way the AI was able to map out our day in seconds saved us hours of work to plan on our own.
We love that by using updated Google listings, we had all the places that were actually open. Since covid, we have found several blogs for travel that are no longer relevant as businesses and cities made major changes, leaving some advice obsolete. We've wasted many hours in travel going to places that no longer exist or following public transit that has changed since the pandemic. Bard AI solved all of those issues.
we highly recommend you give it a try.
Hopefully your trip to Antwerp will have more time to explore such a stunning European city.
