It looked like the GMC's steering was struggling, and I think I could hear it whining a little bit. The power steering system probably needed to be flushed. Those are really nice trucks, though!

Personally, my least favorite backlight color for the instrument cluster is green. I think my family's old Mercury Mountaineer had green backlights for everything, and it just didn't appeal to me for some reason.
I have read that used car sales this time of year (Feb and March) are always hot because people are getting tax refunds, and are looking to spend it. Dealers are desparate to get inventory, anything because nearly anything affordably or low priced will sell. Do you find this is true with your fathers car lots?

The Ranger has no tachometer... Why do certain cars have no tachometers??
In automatic cars, you don't really need a tachometer for regular driving, though its a nice addition
