I was born in 1980 so I was an early Thriller fan! I was lucky enough to attend the Bad 88 tour in Pittsburgh, PA. It's great to hear some more in-depth commentary from these times. I was too young to meet (but it was always my dream) or join in on the fan groups. I really wanted to attend the NY 2001 concert but thankfully did not. I was 21 and thought I could drive my little grown self, lol. I am really enjoying connecting with the community now with all the resources we have now! Just saw the MJ Musical here in Pittsburgh this past weekend. Thank you for all you both do!
Thank you for stopping by! The bad tour must’ve been amazing! I am glad you’re enjoying the online community and things like the musical. So happy we can all still come together after all these years to share in the love of his music!

I’ve been a big MJ fan since 1990. My fandom grew around 1997 with the internet and MJIFC chat room became my playground. MJNI fan club was everything. I never met Reva but I remember hearing her name among the other fans I interacted with. We definitely used to know many of the same people.
Michael Jackson, I’ve been a fan 🥰🤗all my life since I was a child, he was my life my everything I was brokenhearted 💔 😭when he passed part of me went with him and I still love them to this day 🤗🥰❤
This is so cool. Ive been a fan since 1981 and i often wonder what happened to these fans and whether they still like MJ or not. OMG i loved America's top 20 😮
I LOVE THIS POST! I love the opening clip and the photos and other clips within of this video. Please have Reva come back, I need to hear more stories.
Wow! It’s so great to see this! I was with a few fans from England, who travelled to see the One Night Only show- we ended up keeping vigil at the freezing cold Beth Israel hospital too, so it’s highly likely that I met this lady. We had quite some adventures travelling , following Michael around the world ❤.
🇿🇦When he was here in 🇿🇦South Africa with our late former President Nelson Mandela it was special I was way to young at time but it wasn't Until 2001 when "Invincible" was released I got to experience him on TV it was the only album and era I got to experience when he passed in '09. I didn't feel too good 😔 but with people such as yourself continuing his legacy it makes me feel better Greetings🤝🏽 from 🇿🇦South Africa
Thank you for your kind words. I understand your perspective- I also was old enough to enjoy invincible era myself as well. Greetings from Los Angeles and thanks for watching
@@MJFANGIRLTV 🇿🇦I was a kid but I'll never forget that era it was the era that bought me to Michael Jackson sad he didn't tour😔 then wondered where is he that when tragedy struck us 😔
Loved this! Sure hope Reva is coming back next year ☺️ I love these stories cause i have personally not gone through this, since I only got into Michael since 2019. Hearing these stories (accompanied by the relived excitement;) makes me experience them a bit too, and that is golden... My friend has a lot of wonderful stories also, but she didn't meet him upclose & personal (she almost did!!) I do have some History magazines tho 😍!! Thank you both for this wonderful story 💝🙏
I was listening on spotify (sometimes I like just to listen) untill y'all were going to show pictures and I was too curious & went on to youtube 🏃♀️😂😂😂
Yes!! No doubt Reva should come back! I love this story and I can't wait to hear more! Thanks MJfangirl for doing this video it warmed my heart so much !!! I appreciate your content and all the work you put in to getting us these videos :)
What I've observed is that og fans who actually lived through the phenomenon including myself due and given the techn pressings are more surface level knowing less in depth constituting fans who mostly only reference the major releases and are ultimately the ones who know MJ the least, lol, than kids who are 15 now or grew up post morpheus aol dial up to be able to recall reference and relay specific high notes on specific tour dates specific ad libs on specifically instantly identified country spots whereas the fans who actually lived through it all mainstay and reference major video releases almost like a more rigidly conditioned and curated and identified relationship with the phenomenon which we know now was intentional and part of the magicianship though its scary and kind of stomach turning to know you may have been more empowered seeing the phenomenon in hindsight and in its completion than actually going to school awaiting and experiencing each drop as it happened while having no context of what was actually going on around it or the addages to piece together to properly contextualize it all accurately.
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed. I love hearing Reva’s stories and I think she really did a great job of taking us back to that time. Appreciate you watching!

Love this very much. I have similar experience with Michael in 1996. He really was very genuine, caring and loving.
