I've always farmed Crypt of the Unbroken while progressing after Trial of One, but never really thought of how good it would farm notes (I do get 15k until power 16-17 but used to spend on that build) I thought farming the Saramaed Hollow is better. Cause I make 15k every 30 minutes guess I was wrong. Otherwise, this was a great video explaining how makes this efficient, amazing editing.
just going to layer 2, stacking up LOADS of knowledge and grabbing notes from the ministry rep npc for knowledge, he gives you a few thousand notes, which is a pretty good way to farm notes too (its pretty good to do on a contractor, you need the rep anyways)
honestly i feel doing the saramaed hollow gives both more money and better loot, as well as being arguably easier you dont need to go down floors just do a floor > loot chests > go back up > sell > repeat ive managed to get around 6k per full inventory
this was easily the best and my favorite editing style ive ever seen please keep on the grind and make more videos on deepwoken in the future ill watch them all

Using the ministry rep NPC is currently the ABSOLUTE BEST way of farming notes without a doubt, if you stack max knowledge from layer 2 (999) that's about 300k notes just from one person alone, the only condition is having to grind layer 2 which isn't too bad considering the drops you can get.
the method i use is just farming maestro since each run usually takes 30 seconds to at most a minute or two, and i get 4k-8k notes depending on the loot i get
just farm ferryman with a voidwalker speedrun build then once your max weight go voidsea right outside of boatman's watch and voideye. each ferryman takes 35~ seconds so you get 4k with snake oil per. To optimize it even more get 400 weight so you dont have to go voidsea since your cd will already be over by the time your max. (DURING 2X WEEKEND)

OR you can speedrun the floor in ignition dungeon, loot all and sell for like 1.5k-2k (i dont even have snake oil) per 4-5mins but the way you showed is way better, but i you have an antiq
assuming you can get 200 medallions in a full layer 2 run convert 200 medals to knowledge trade knowledge for notes 200 x 300 = 60,000 notes 120,000 notes per hour (writing this before watching the video)
is 200 medallions in 1 run not absurd i gotta see ur source for this also assumes 30 minute runs which also seems generously fast if ur going around getting 200 medallions

for me i personally think its ferryman, i mean just get a high damaging probably even for bossraid build to kill him in under a minute, then you'd get rich in probably an hour or so; because most items on his chests sells for about 75 notes minimum without snake oil

i see what youre saying but from these comments its evident theres plenty of other methods out there, with some reportedly being better and instanced (layer 2, diluvian, maestro, etc), so if you need to grind out millions of notes you can go do those. this is for people who just need to get a few thousand notes for mantras, dont need to completely max out their guild base, or arent skilled enough to do other methods (me). gatekeeping is annoying anyway!

@@rottcod alright its math time then ~60 medallions per run x 300 notes is 18000 notes if you do a layer two getting all medallions in ~20 minutes (generous number) so 18000/20 is ~900/min (keep in mind you'd have to resurface, sell, and go back down every time you near 999 knowledge) in the video i speedran the route in 30 seconds, round up to 1 minute with menus and empty servers 4-5 servers will fill your inventory (on this build, i have a better one planned) so thats ~6 minutes including selling you get ~10000 notes per inventory (on this build) so 10000/6 is 1666/min maybe my estimates are way off or something but crypt looks faster to me
honestly not sure if it would even if the loot sells for more with a pve build to speedkill him you wouldnt have much carryload left to hold stuff to sell with a carryload build killing him would take like forever

Two ferrymans are like 15k notes, pair it with void Walker and you got a easy notes farm
The ignition union underground dungeon can be a good alternative, I was able to contribute 1.5M notes after a long grind.
While certainly not the best ,it is extremely easy to do ,❤ love the editing
