But leaves and branches are not permanent for the tree. But root is always there for the tree.
Mostly it's the parents only who are the roots always stand by you,love relationship like branches cannot depend on them for lifetime and friends like leaves who stays during good season but may turn away when problem.

Been like a root from so long and now I'm hurt, been left out, got walked on, left alone! And been called bad!
Same thing happen to me dear. I've always been a root to many friends but what i've got in return was deserted and bad mouthed.
@@zualirlte2148 things would be better, just hang in there... Replace all you stupid careless friends with something productive for me I started a diet, got a workout plan and started learning computer languages. Things are going great, also I've got a lot of good friends now.

When you think someone let you down, remember, you let yourself down first by expecting more from others. Expectations are the roots to all failures. The only expectation you need to have is, my friend is doing the best they can to help me. No matter how little or how big they are doing. We all trying to stay afloat in this ocean of life.

This is extremely true. And there’s no excuses in this, it’s the truth and believe it or not it happens. People may deny but it may be because they don’t reflect on their lives and say “ maybe I went wrong here” or “I treated this person badly” or “it was not my place to say that.” Things happen, but as an honest person (out of self respect) look back and forgive yourself and learn from that.
I have 4 friends only....and they are my roots😇😇...blessed to have them...😇😇

This has truly, deeply, gotten me thinking about the relationships in my life:
→ The people who have really always been roots - my parents and my sister - even when I treated them like branches when I shouldn't have.
→ The people I was afraid would be branches who instead became roots - my two closest friends, who have both been through hell and back during each of our hardest times.
→ And, recently, the people I thought could become roots but ended up leaves - those I came to know, made a seemingly special connection with, but who left without a trace just like that.
To you who reads this, always, ALWAYS remember: You are the only one who needs to believe in you, and you are amazing the way you are. I was once told, "Never mold yourself into someone else so someone likes you." So go out there and have the courage to never give up, try your best, succeed, fail, do it all - because we are all given this one life to cherish and grow in!!
I was totally depressed after my failures...I was feeling too much hopeless because..in college time those friends has given me a lot of promise ..but when I called them...they are ignoring me because they thinks I am failure... because all of them are inects on my leafs.... extremely happy after this video...

I was roots to many but when I was in need, i got only leaves in return. Only my husband and children proved roots for me. They are the persons for whom I want to live, grow and give all what I have my love, support and care. Thanks for guiding me.

If we can be branchs at some point with some friends in our live because of our shortcomings.. Why should we remove these persons from our life.. I remember not being able to help as much as I could a friend because of my own issues at a time.. We are still friend right now even tho I couldve done more for him..

People come into our lives as leaves, branches, or roots.
For a reason, a season, or lifetime...whether for good, bad or as a lesson.
Expectations are the roots of all failures. People will almost always let you down, it's human nature whether on purpose or not. The ones closest to us are usually the ones who fail us, hurt us, betray us, lie to us, cheat us, turn their back on us, stand us up, are disloyal, etc...while I see some of my past, and future friends are/were hollow, follies not loyal like myself. I pray that I remain a good person and not get bitter-but it is hard to always remain true while others fail you.
I am definitely the ROOT as a friend, person, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, etc... Everyone in my life seems to be a leaf or a branch 😔. I have been lied to, stood up, been pushed aside for better friends or offers, been a 3rd wheel, a second choice, forgotten, left waiting, cheated on, etc...
TRUE FRIENDS don't hurt you they are the support system, loyal, etc... I stay strong, grow and learn from everyone and everything around me be it good or bad. This is what makes us better and stronger people. But I don't put my faith in humanity, friends, etc... I have learned to put my faith in Jesus...HE is my one and only TRUE FRIEND till the end...

An external force can find no difficulty to remove leaves and branches but hesitate when it comes to the roots of a tree through which the roots finally help to grow back again and thats some kind of bond we want in our lives and can definitely be one in others too.

I read the hundreds of comments here, everyone like, see and say the same.
True different peole and relationships thought our lives.
But, on a second thought,
I must say that I have a little problem with the analogy to the tree. If the tree is a living society, made of group of people, which defines in part as group of different peole sharing the same values. Than, just like the tree, every part of it is as equally as important. No part of the tree is better or more important that the other. Sometimes you meet people in your life for a very short time that make a profound influence and change in your life far more than those around all the time. A tree in nature is balanced, is one. Roots branches leaves etc. The changing leaves every season are also a good thing. Leavs absorbs the suns energy and vital to the rest of it.
I understand the positive message, I just think that it is narrow and incomplete. A tree is strong because of all of his different parts. No part is better than the other. Any society needs all of it's different people in order to exist and thrive. The message could have been way better and stronger if applied correctly to a beautiful tree that is natures creation and well balanced.
So: powerful message, not a good choice with the analogy to a tree and the different parts that makes a tree in my opinion.
