I think they asked for hiatus extension but YG can't give it anymore as much as they want to because all the other partnership contract they have signed which mostly years or months ago, should be TREASURE as a group, as 12, not 10, thus they cannot give the clients/adverstisers, partners, etc excuses anymore about mashidam's absences, if YG insists, it will affect the rest of the boys. For all we know YG is paying penalties to the companies/clients because instead of 12, they can only give 10 heads. For example, Truz had already did mass production of Truz merch with mashidam in it, costs implications already. So decisions have to be made. YG never had an issue abusing or forcing their artists, they always give it to them the final decision when it is about Personal Matters.

But IF the decision to terminate the contract is really mutual, then I am all for it for Mashi and Yedamie’s sake. Treasure is 12. Let us not be a letdown for the remaining 10. Yedam was the reason I found Treasure so the news hurts so much but through him I fell in love with all of Treasure. He’s my bias with the addition of Hyunsuk and Junghwan so will continue on supporting Treasure and will support Yedam and Mashiho in whatever they will be doing in the future.
