Great question! Firstly, I guess it comes down to the reliability of the brands. Ergotune is relatively new as compared to Steelcase. I would side with Steelcase personally based on their reputation, but ergotune could reach that stage in afew years. Secondly, both are great chairs but the personality plus is one of the lower range in Steelcase’s range, whereas Ergotune Supreme is the top of their range. So if you want the best in the Steelcase range, the price will drastically be different. So that’s another thing to consider. There’s no right answer for this, but I’d lean to Steelcase for reliability, but in-terms of adjustments, the Ergotune Supreme has more adjustments. Hope this helps!

@@ChidAwsome have beeen using the series 1 since over a year and it's brilliant chair. Just bear in mind that it sports a petite design, and hence, ytring it before buying it is advised.

You can remove the arm rests but you will have to use tools to do it.
