- Welcome to Zentangle Project Pack No. 10: Zentangle Legend.
Join Maria and Rick on this sixth day of the Zentangle Project Pack No. 10, the "Zentangle Legend."
Each of the lessons in this series builds off of each other and we suggest watching the Zentangle Project Pack No. 10 videos in order, beginning with the introduction.
This Zentangle Project Pack focuses on the legend of the Zentangle Legend. Its goal is to inspire you to create your own Legend . . . with all which that metaphor can imply.
Share your work on the Zentangle Mosaic app or other social media sites with the hashtags #PP10 and #ZentangleLegend.

Thank you Rick and Maria.
l love all Kind of art and Zentangle makes me enjoe it .
Just listening to you two is so soothing to me, I relax 😌 while I watch you do your tangle examples. I love it.
I love this one.
You two get along and respect each other. Good for you both...nice tangle.....
Love your video. What really strikes me is your spacing and accuracy. Really is amazing.
So I’m sitting here filling up my legends zentangle pack 10 and I am following along on the borders page and on border number 19 you did the little cursive e’s, sideways on each side. Well , I did just that but the decided to put a curvy line down the middle of it and it looks like two pieces of macaroni hugging! Lol
You bring joy! Thanks 💝
IMHO BEST PP YET! Teaching us to think outside the box & not just mimic. I Love IT! :D
Amazing! You two were made for each other and to share this together.
Wow! Cadent is so cool. It is one of the first tangles I learned. Love it! Thank you.
So amazing, you both are so creative, and your patience for this style of drawing is incredible.
Wow love these borders. You make it look easy. Thank you for making our day. 🇨🇦🤗🤗🤗
Love the little page with borders, and especially Eek / Eke with the "grosgrain" inside it. So much fun to listen to you both and watch Maria do her magic.
No fear. Never an error. Awesom. I had no fear today when I made some B'Day cards. I happy.
Nice tangles!!🥰
Thanks for another great project pack. I am learning something new everyday.
Really enjoyed watching you create these borders. My Pack No.10 arrives Monday, can’t wait to get started. Enjoy your weekend.
Enjoy!!
Love those Boarders, They are neat. ❤️I really like 10 and 13.
I love your Tangles, and I always have to do some of my own, when I watch thees. Beautiful
Yes number 7 is hibred. But fun doing it in alternate black and brown.
Cool border tangles. I don’t know if you look around on YT, but I just saw something that was exquisite and looked like like border tangles. It’s Japanese, I believe it’s spelled Hakone Marquetry. this gentleman takes thin slabs of different colored wood, maybe 5 or 6 inches wide, maybe 3/8” thick, He uses a jig to cut them into triangle shapes, glues them together - kind of like in polymer clay work- glues them into rod shapes, then into blocks...Winds up with gorgeous patterned blocks of wood, planes off thin slices, and uses these sheets to cover boxes. Truly gorgeous, and the patterns look just like beautiful border tangles. Worth checking out, just to see such beautiful work. Sorry to interrupt your gig, but this is a sister art. Hope you can check it out.
Sounds amazing....I'm going to look it up right now. Thanks!
Love these! Your names ARE clever!
Stunning.
me encanta, gracias
Thank you very much for this wonderful lesson where I discovered such beautiful borders with wellknown tangles but I had never the idea to use them like you did . Love the use of braun and black!
Loved your choices, Maria, for your borders! My favorites were the Mooka & its tangleation. Was surprised 'Hart-ellie' was not included, you can bet when my PP10 arrives it will be on my L4 page. ;-) TFS, and be well!
I agree...”Hart-Ellie” is one of my favorite and fun borders!
Fantastico !!!!!!
I just keep loving ALL the Tangles! I just worked on the wonderful borders, and wonder where I can watch you do 1,3,4,6,8. There look to be some very interesting ones pictured in a partial view of one of your books. (Probably the next page after the borders you just demonstrated.)
Isn’t the one in number seven “hibred?” It’s definitely a cousin of hurry but I know I’ve done it before as a border.
I have gotten the vast majority of your project packs and it seems as though I like each one better than the last. And yes.... KUDOS for making it really come home that we’re intended to spread our wings and develop our own art rather than simply mimic! You are an amazing group of people. One piece of constructive criticism.... it was truly a shame that this entire video was out of focus. It made it difficult to see the finer details. Just sayin’.... ♥️🙇🏻♀️✍🏻🐌
💕 💝
Do they sell the dice and the accompanying card with the legends on them?...I would love to do that...It sounds like it was great fun!... love you guys and your awesome art!
