It's not even moisturizer, it's "toner." And we're using toner veeeery loosely here. That product is literally water, glycerin, fragrance and preservatives. It's literally one of the worst things you can put on your face if it's highly reactive, like Trixie's says hers is.

If you want to even out skin texture, it's worth trying a Niacinamide serum (I like the one from The Ordinary, but there are loads of others to choose from). Exfoliants will help too of course, but niacinamide can really help to make skin healthier and more even textured 👍
Yes! I've been using niacinamide for a few months and it's making a noticeable difference in my aging homosexual skin.

Toner normalizes the PH balance of your skin after you've used a cleanser on it. This allows product to better absorb into it, which increases their effectiveness, and also helps moisturize. Most cleansers are basic/alkaline which is drying for your skin. Even just cleansing with water disrupts your skin's PH level, so always use toner after cleansing. The more you know!

Spf in makeup isn't enough, you need spf 50 underneath applied liberally when using chemical exfolients. Also your skin is beautiful! 😍
What about if your moisturizer has spf 30 in it?
@@angelsunlight esthetician here! Spf 30 or more moisturizer should be fine as long as you use enough (2 fingers worth) ,but you will have to reapply within 2 hours!

@@angelsunlight it's always better to put on SPF than something that has SPF mixed in, but if you're going to use it 2/3 fingers for face and neck should be enough

The “items” in your nose are called filaments and are natural. They are not blackheads to be removed. It’s just how people with fair skin look up close.
Yes. And trying to ‘remove’ the natural stuff (that protects your pores from actual dirt and stuff like makeup) will cause damage that leads to stuff like broken capillaries, redness, and increased texture.

@@Boooo_39 keeping skin healthy with the basic washing+moisturizing and optionally chemical exfoliation. Clean, plump skin minimizes the look of pores and those filaments. But other than that you just have to accept them, everyone has them

Have you tried a sleeping moisturizer mask? Laneige water mask and it's lip sleeping mask are so great. So light and so moisturizing. Just rinse it off in the morning. It was a game changer for me

Trixie! You need to use sunscreen separate from your tinted moisturiser. You need approximately two fingers worth of SPF to get enough protection on your face. Use makeup over it girl. Also, SPF 20 is nothing if you are just putting a thin layer of it- like you did with your tinted moisturiser. Also, a high concentration AHA and micro dermal aberration exfoliation that you are doing means nothing if you don’t use SPF- Exfoliation makes you more prone to Sun damage. Use a proper SPF

I'm not done watching this video yet, but I'm a straight male but would love to find one or two makeup products that would make me look like I'm about to film the scene in a movie where there was 3 make up artists assigned to me. Maybe do a video for guy make up for guys? That'd be awesome...maybe for just me. But that'd be awesome
I don't know a lot about makeup but if you want to make your skin look more even/ clearer you could try using a primer and concealer,, that keeps your face natural looking if that's what you're going for.
Tinted moisturizer can also do wonders! There are tinted moisturizers that already have SPF so you get more out of them. It’s like your skin but better. Also agree with concealers just to correct some redness, scars, and marks

I'm sorry Trixie... that UD tinted moisturizer is gone now... maybe try Fenty's new skin tint or Laura Mercier's oil free tinted moisturizer. They are a similar finish. No SPF in Fenty. But honestly, you would never use enough tinted moisturizer for the SPF to matter. Use a sunscreen post moisturizer (2 finger lengths) for maximum protection.

@@DeezN00tz99 yeah if you want proper protection. Try a physical sunscreen or a mix of physical and chemical and you typically get less of a greasy look. Or Supergoop makes a matte sunscreen. That would work too.

Just Incase anyone actually checks this: toner is usually a light astringent, mostly used for the purpose of light dirt(oil/products/ etc) removal & ph balancing . Helps keep skin evenly toned, cuts down on redness & excess oil.
