What’s the meaning of goguryeo? It was translated to Chinese by voice 高句丽（gaw-go-lee). So what are the meaning of shila,bache and gogureyo or goreyo?
In record, Goguryeo people called castle or city '溝漊'(guru). east-asia history researchers said that name 'Goguryeo' was from this word.
It is because first of goguryeo was 'city state'
It is relative to these langueges
-Manchurian : 'gurun(a country)'
-Korean : 'goel(a city)'
