I didn’t have any room in my Protestant framework to understand how or why that would occur. I entered rcia soon thereafter and have now been in the church for over a year. Thank you! It makes me feel a bit better knowing that I am not the only one who sometimes poorly prays the rosary. I use to struggle staying awake while praying the rosary. I use to stress so much over praying perfectly that the rosary stressed me and it would take me almost an hour to complete one rosary because I would redo prayers, even whole decades, (I have a little OCD) until I felt I prayed each prayer properly. Now, I focus on the meditation of each mystery (I actually watch muted video clips of each mystery while praying) and pray each prayer at a comfortable pace (not too fast). I now seem to enjoy praying the rosary and I really don't fall asleep anymore. Not long after last Easter, I started praying all 4 rosaries each day. Eventually I stopped praying any rosaries, but I have started praying one rosary a day this week and hopefully will start doing 4 again!
Gabe!! After watching your interview with Matt Frad, I had committed to praying all 20 decades of the rosary everyday and a weekly holy hour. I used to pray 5 decades every day (sometimes skipping a day or so) and have not incorporated adoration in my regular prayer life. It’s been a month and it’s changed my life. Your interview is one of the few that really had an impact on my prayer life. Thank you!
Thank you for helping me to get over my initial fear of loving Our Lady too much and thinking that it might distract me from Jesus, I’m finding that it’s the exact opposite and I feel closer to Jesus than ever before. I’ve been feeling an increasingly strong pull to the Catholic Church lately and I definitely think that it’s our Mother calling me home. I’ve been praying the rosary daily and it has already begun to change my life. Our Lady crushes the head of the serpent!

I did the consecration with you and began doing 4 rosaries a day. It’s not always perfect but I agree that it has brought such a difference in my life ! I have been called to have one of my rosaries be the Our Lady of sorrows chaplet. I so appreciate your honesty. Thank you for your ministry!
How?! That's my question. 4 rosaries are 2 hours per day and I only have 3 hours in my day after work to cram exercise, dinner and preparing for the next day. This is due to chronic illness
@@tanyaortiz8053 I do short rosaries that you can find online. (15-17 min) One when I am getting ready for work, one on my way to work, one on my way back from work and one at home. The Relevant Radio app has one in English that is 17 min and the other ones are in Spanish. You don’t have to do all the prayers for each one. Just the Our Fathers and Hail Marys. It is doable. I have stopped listening to the radio and watching too much TV .

Dear Gabriel... I did the 33 day consecration with you and was consecrated in Feb 11. I'm the 70 yr old who after 69 years was ready! My life has changed sooo much since, with miracles and blessings, I never imagined or expected. However, the last few weeks have been another story, and I was getting discouraged. Well, well, here comes Mother Mary with Gabriel in tow, to remind me that it is HER will not mine. I was doing what I wanted and wondered why everything was backwards. Was praying my 4 rosaries and really began to love it, y’know? I know the Enemy attacks when we begin to form good habits like that, but I guess I thought I’d have some measure of armor from it. Apparently I’m too weak, too broken, or too invisible to Mary and to God, though. I’m so very tired of life. Prayers please, if you think God will take notice.
I will try to pray for u though if Iam being honest, I have to go thru some gymnastics to pray the rosary myself. So pray for me too. If I manage to pray for one day, then the whole week goes wth out prayer.
Many things could be the cause here. I started dreading praying 4 a day, and when I realized it was because I felt so distant from him, I looked at the image of Jesus's face from the shroud and I just started telling him everything that made me feel disconnected from him, my sin, feeling like I didn't know what he wanted from my life, feeling like I couldn't hear his voice and that it was because I was too sinful for him. Maybe you need to talk to God really honestly and just get out everything you feel and think. Another thing I find, is if I do not want to pray, I am sorta doubting that this is effective or that it matters more than X tasks, so I just recommit myself with strength and say I want to be here, this is where I need to be, in this mystery right now. If you haven't before, I would consider getting the book "Consoling the heart of Jesus". It's super readable and engaging, and it really helps to break the distance between you and Jesus. Remember also that Jesus said he didn't come to save the righteous but sinners, and that tax collectors and prostitutes who have faith go before many others in the kingdom of heaven. I thought you might need that reminder because you said that you felt too sinful. God loves you deeply and is not indifferent to you, and He doesn't want you to beg for His attention but to rest and know that He is already attentive to you.
This is VERY TRUE. All of what was said in the video - four rosaries a day (even imperfect), asking Our Lady, her replies, her presence, her way of leading us nearer to Jesus. All very true. Thank you so much for reminding us. ❤
Hello Gabriel, it’s me again. Yesterday I went to go see the arm of St Jude. I’m asking him for the grace to help me to pray the entire mysteries of the rosary everyday (hopefully) for the rest of my life. If it’s not God’s will for me to pray those rosaries, I pray St Jude will guide me to know how much God wants me to pray. I hope you don’t mind Gabriel praying for this intention of mine.
I’m a lifelong Protestant who’s been exploring the Catholic faith. It makes sense to me that Mary is the Queen of Heaven, her immaculate conception, her sinless life, etc. I’ve even started praying the rosary. However, I am still confused how her will can be completely united with God’s will? Like in this video, you mentioned Mary’s will and her leading you and everything - this sort of language makes me squeamish, if I’m being honest. Please help me understand. Thank you, sincerely a wannabe Catholic :)
We have to understand that holiness is conformity with God’s will. Virtue is an act that accords to God’s will, while sin is an act contrary to God’s will. If Mary was perfectly sinless and full of grace, then she must have always had her will completely conformed to God’s.

Kind of on a mission here and wondered if you would 0:24 meditate and consider taking on the subject of tattoos. Everyone, good Catholics included are getting inked (usually under the guise of it being a religious symbol). More exorcists are speaking out about the potentially demonic elements. I do not know if you have a tattoo but, please consider this. I do know that there are exorcism prayers that can be prayed to “decommission” the tattoo. Please look into this and pray. I really admire people that pray all the mysteries every day. Every priest I have talked to has told me 1 time praying is more than enough. One priest was literally shocked when I told him I was praying the rosary 4 times a day at the time. Another priest said to only pray it more than once if you feel a calling in your heart from Our Lady or God to do this.
I love your work. Through your work and of course, Mary, I have cultivated a true devotion to Mary, a relationship with St. Maximilian Kolbe, Therese of Lisieux, and answering a call to serve the local teens in my parish. I pray that I may have a greater faith in Jesus through Mary and sharing Our Beautiful Mother with my family and the youth.

Hello Gabriel, I have a couple of questions to ask you. 1. At 0:59 you said MANY of the rosaries you prayed were prayed poorly. If you don’t mind me asking, what do you mean by poorly? I know you said you just wanted to get them done, but I’m curious to know if you were focusing on the mysteries or not, or you just mumbled the words, or if you didn’t meditate well. I’m asking this because I could possibly pray 4 rosary’s if I did it “poorly.” Also, I’m not sure if praying a poor rosary will honor Mary… maybe you can clear up my mind on that thinking. 2. How do you know Mary’s will with ABSOLUTE certainty. It seems that you ask for her guidance all the time (expect for a few occasion) and you get a response from her all the time (more or less). How does that work? I know you said it’s a sudden understanding but I am having a hard time discerning/receiving that “sudden understanding.” I want to do her will, but I want clarity for her response. Also, what if I genuinely don’t know what she wants? Can she withhold that sudden understanding from me because she knows I’m not going to obey her will? God bless you and your ministry. 🙏🏻
1) My advice to getting in 4 is start by doing them poorly. Just get them done... and the power of the ingredients will cause you to course correct and you will start to pray better. Don't let you desire to be perfect keep you from doing a good thing... soon Our Lady will lead you to perfection... and then you can work on doing it better. 2) You cannot know with certainty but Our Lady is a real lady... and she will help you to know. At judgment you will be called to give an account of did you follow your well formed conscience.... Our Lady will move your conscience if you ask her. Our issue is mostly we don't ask her.

I tend to overthink stuff a lot... the advice that I have gotten, followed, and worked is: just do it, do not overthink, follow what the saints did... in this case, I would suggest: read True Devotion to Mary by Saint Louis de Montfort... do not get caught in nuances... as Gabriel pointed out, a "well formed conscience" is something you want to have... if I am always or very often stuck in-between events that may look good but maybe bad... conscience formation is needed... if my struggle is between 2 goods, maybe scrupulosity check is needed... in any case, if you are up for a deep dive Moral Theology by Antonio Royo Marin, OP and/or Moral Theology (Theologia Moralis) by St. Alphonsus Liguori. Above all, do not get discouraged, keep praying the Rosary, just do your part, The Immaculata will do Her part 🙏🏽👍🏽 PS Keep watching Gabriel's videos and watch some of the ones on Praying the Rosary... Gabriel has great content and is blessed with graces from The Immaculata to do this apostolate... Ave Maria

Do you meditate on the mysteries with much success? It takes a quiet room with no distractions. I say this simple prayer just before the Rosary; "Dear Lord, please help me pray with a clear mind and with honour, reverence and devotion to you". Keep at it, friend!

Wow, catholicism really is idolatry. I better never hear another Catholic deny that you guys worship Mary. Catholics miss the gospel entirely. Mary did not die for your sins. Mari is not the mother of God. Mary was created by God, who alone is eternal. Jesus Christ is the eternal God who created Mary. I'm genuinely curious, and somewhat confused, but if all of these things are what the Virgin Mary does, what is left for the Holy Spirit to do in our lives? It seems like there is a conflation of roles and it leaves me very confused.
St Maximillian Kolbe says that the Holy Spirit works through and in union with the Virgin Mary. We can see this happening when Mary visits Elizabeth… by her very voice, John the Baptist leapt for joy and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. We are having a war on wisdom these days. Pray for Holy wisdom, clarity, and understanding. Pray for knowledge and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Pray for the Holy Angels and Saints to protect you Everywhere you go. When making decisions make it through holy wisdom, it comes from God not your own understandings. (James 1:5) instructs believers to ask for wisdom-to pray for it. And when you decide to dig deeper. Find a Catholic church near you. Get involved in the RCIA program try it for a few weeks before you give up. Once you actually get introduced to Jesus, why would you want to turn back? I hope you don’t. I hope you stay. I hope you choose Jesus every day.

I did the consecration with you and began doing 4 rosaries a day. It’s not always perfect but I agree that it has brought such a difference in my life ! I have been called to have one of my rosaries be the Our Lady of sorrows chaplet. I so appreciate your honesty. Thank you for your ministry!
How?! That's my question. 4 rosaries are 2 hours per day and I only have 3 hours in my day after work to cram exercise, dinner and preparing for the next day. This is due to chronic illness
@@tanyaortiz8053 I do short rosaries that you can find online. (15-17 min) One when I am getting ready for work, one on my way to work, one on my way back from work and one at home. The Relevant Radio app has one in English that is 17 min and the other ones are in Spanish. You don’t have to do all the prayers for each one. Just the Our Fathers and Hail Marys. It is doable. I have stopped listening to the radio and watching too much TV .

Well, well, here comes Mother Mary with Gabriel in tow, to remind me that it is HER will not mine. I was doing what I wanted and wondered why everything was backwards. Was praying my 4 rosaries and really began to love it, y’know? I know the Enemy attacks when we begin to form good habits like that, but I guess I thought I’d have some measure of armor from it. Apparently I’m too weak, too broken, or too invisible to Mary and to God, though. I’m so very tired of life. Prayers please, if you think God will take notice.
I will try to pray for u though if Iam being honest, I have to go thru some gymnastics to pray the rosary myself. So pray for me too. If I manage to pray for one day, then the whole week goes wth out prayer.
Many things could be the cause here. I started dreading praying 4 a day, and when I realized it was because I felt so distant from him, I looked at the image of Jesus's face from the shroud and I just started telling him everything that made me feel disconnected from him, my sin, feeling like I didn't know what he wanted from my life, feeling like I couldn't hear his voice and that it was because I was too sinful for him. Maybe you need to talk to God really honestly and just get out everything you feel and think.
Another thing I find, is if I do not want to pray, I am sorta doubting that this is effective or that it matters more than X tasks, so I just recommit myself with strength and say I want to be here, this is where I need to be, in this mystery right now.
If you haven't before, I would consider getting the book "Consoling the heart of Jesus". It's super readable and engaging, and it really helps to break the distance between you and Jesus.
Remember also that Jesus said he didn't come to save the righteous but sinners, and that tax collectors and prostitutes who have faith go before many others in the kingdom of heaven. I thought you might need that reminder because you said that you felt too sinful. God loves you deeply and is not indifferent to you, and He doesn't want you to beg for His attention but to rest and know that He is already attentive to you.

Hello Gabriel, it’s me again. Yesterday I went to go see the arm of St Jude. I’m asking him for the grace to help me to pray the entire mysteries of the rosary everyday (hopefully) for the rest of my life. If it’s not God’s will for me to pray those rosaries, I pray St Jude will guide me to know how much God wants me to pray. I hope you don’t mind Gabriel praying for this intention of mine.
I’m a lifelong Protestant who’s been exploring the Catholic faith. It makes sense to me that Mary is the Queen of Heaven, her immaculate conception, her sinless life, etc. I’ve even started praying the rosary. However, I am still confused how her will can be completely united with God’s will?
Like in this video, you mentioned Mary’s will and her leading you and everything - this sort of language makes me squeamish, if I’m being honest. Please help me understand. Thank you, sincerely a wannabe Catholic :)
We have to understand that holiness is conformity with God’s will. Virtue is an act that accords to God’s will, while sin is an act contrary to God’s will. If Mary was perfectly sinless and full of grace, then she must have always had her will completely conformed to God’s.

Kind of on a mission here and wondered if you would 0:24 meditate and consider taking on the subject of tattoos. Everyone, good Catholics included are getting inked (usually under the guise of it being a religious symbol). More exorcists are speaking out about the potentially demonic elements. I do not know if you have a tattoo but, please consider this. I do know that there are exorcism prayers that can be prayed to “decommission” the tattoo. Please look into this and pray. I really admire people that pray all the mysteries every day. Every priest I have talked to has told me 1 time praying is more than enough. One priest was literally shocked when I told him I was praying the rosary 4 times a day at the time. Another priest said to only pray it more than once if you feel a calling in your heart from Our Lady or God to do this.
They don't know better. If they read the book the Secret of Mary they will see clearly.

Hello Gabriel, I have a couple of questions to ask you.
1. At 0:59 you said MANY of the rosaries you prayed were prayed poorly. If you don’t mind me asking, what do you mean by poorly? I know you said you just wanted to get them done, but I’m curious to know if you were focusing on the mysteries or not, or you just mumbled the words, or if you didn’t meditate well. I’m asking this because I could possibly pray 4 rosary’s if I did it “poorly.” Also, I’m not sure if praying a poor rosary will honor Mary… maybe you can clear up my mind on that thinking.
2. How do you know Mary’s will with ABSOLUTE certainty. It seems that you ask for her guidance all the time (expect for a few occasion) and you get a response from her all the time (more or less). How does that work? I know you said it’s a sudden understanding but I am having a hard time discerning/receiving that “sudden understanding.” I want to do her will, but I want clarity for her response. Also, what if I genuinely don’t know what she wants? Can she withhold that sudden understanding from me because she knows I’m not going to obey her will?

1) My advice to getting in 4 is start by doing them poorly. Just get them done... and the power of the ingredients will cause you to course correct and you will start to pray better. Don't let you desire to be perfect keep you from doing a good thing... soon Our Lady will lead you to perfection... and then you can work on doing it better.
2) You cannot know with certainty but Our Lady is a real lady... and she will help you to know. At judgment you will be called to give an account of did you follow your well formed conscience.... Our Lady will move your conscience if you ask her. Our issue is mostly we don't ask her.

I tend to overthink stuff a lot... the advice that I have gotten, followed, and worked is: just do it, do not overthink, follow what the saints did... in this case, I would suggest: read True Devotion to Mary by Saint Louis de Montfort... do not get caught in nuances... as Gabriel pointed out, a "well formed conscience" is something you want to have... if I am always or very often stuck in-between events that may look good but maybe bad... conscience formation is needed... if my struggle is between 2 goods, maybe scrupulosity check is needed... in any case, if you are up for a deep dive Moral Theology by Antonio Royo Marin, OP and/or Moral Theology (Theologia Moralis) by St. Alphonsus Liguori.
Above all, do not get discouraged, keep praying the Rosary, just do your part, The Immaculata will do Her part 🙏🏽👍🏽

I'm genuinely curious, and somewhat confused, but if all of these things are what the Virgin Mary does, what is left for the Holy Spirit to do in our lives? It seems like there is a conflation of roles and it leaves me very confused.
St Maximillian Kolbe says that the Holy Spirit works through and in union with the Virgin Mary. We can see this happening when Mary visits Elizabeth… by her very voice, John the Baptist leapt for joy and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray for Holy wisdom, clarity, and understanding. Pray for knowledge and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Pray for the Holy Angels and Saints to protect you Everywhere you go. When making decisions make it through holy wisdom, it comes from God not your own understandings. (James 1:5) instructs believers to ask for wisdom-to pray for it. And when you decide to dig deeper. Find a Catholic church near you. Get involved in the RCIA program try it for a few weeks before you give up. Once you actually get introduced to Jesus, why would you want to turn back? I hope you don’t. I hope you stay. I hope you choose Jesus every day.
