So when all these multi residential homes go into mature neighbourhoods the unintended consequences will be, oh now the utilities need to be upgraded ie water and sewer. Now they have to tear up the road to fix that, oh and by they way the 70 yr old senior who’s lived there for 40 years will see a massive property tax increase to pay for these upgrades, causing the senior to lose his home and become homeless. As a side note Sohi keeps saying we want to grow to 2 million people. Well isn’t Gaza about 2 million people over a much larger land base than Edmonton and yet their main grievance is that there are too many people in too small a space? Does Sohi want us to be like Gaza?
Is a good day when nimbys are beginning to lose power to keep the country hostage. GET BUILDING 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Needs more multi-use dense developments. I shouldnt need to drive 30 minutes to the grocery store to get milk.
My husband and I watched all of these building goes up.
Feel bad for the sucker who buys them.
They are pure garbage and where are they getting all the illegal workers to build them
We need a renter tax to bring down the cost of rental units.

Who cares. Mature neighbourhoods voted these lefties into city council.
The guys living in the multi residential homes will also pay property taxes and pay for the upgrades.
Don't forget they can mover all the new Canadians around for diversity
@@MrJoeSomebody you are dreaming if you think taxes will reduce , they just raise it to build infrastructure, bike paths side walks , bus and trains
Sheer ignorance. This will lower taxes as neighbourhoods will make more tax incomes. Research the suburban Ponzi scheme.
This is a trick to get welfair housing in you nice little community
