Aja impresses me more every day. I really respect this young lady. Like so many others this is my first season watching the WNBA. Aja Wilson jumped off the screen for me with her athleticism and level of play. Best player in the league bar none. Now that I have had a chance to see the person that she is I am even more impressed. Season is not even a quarter over yet. They will be there when it counts.
A'ja is truly in a class of her own. The legacy she is building and has built speaks for itself. Not only is she a great player, but she has a great heart and great personhood.

Personally I think the other teams have studied the ACES' game plan and are coming for their necks. So I think the ACES have to change their game plan and throw the other teams completely off.
This team is so wild to watch this year. I love Chelsea, but that can't be the only reason we're failing. The offense is becoming too. "Let me go now." We've seen flashes of this team being fantastic. They can win this third ring. The consistency needs to be key!
To take one of Kenny Smith's favorite lines, Chelsea puts everyone in their natural position. Jackie and Kelsey are score first guards who are being tasked with setting the table. A great point guard like Chelsea coming back should improve everyone's game.

A'ja is playing at a MVP level and there is enough talent on this roster. Yes, there needs to be better individual play, but honestly, I feel this is on Becky. You knew Chelsea wasn't going to be available. You had plenty of time to find a style of play/rotations that would be effective. KP is playing too many minutes. Without Gray, A'ja has to be the focal point offensively. It should be mandatory that she takes +20 shots a game. Also, why didn't y'all go out and get a serviceable backup PG or big?

Their shooting efficiency is off this season. I would venture the Olympics is in the back of a lot of their minds as well. Most teams, I'm sure spent the off-season trying to ensure they dont 3 peat and it shows. Every team that plays them plays their best games. They might need to take that L this season and reevaluate their roster. Their centers do not produce like other centers on offense or defense consistently, which means most teams have a player advantage on defense.

Kate Martin is a good player. Unfortunately she's sometimes a bad matchup, often playing against taller and more athletic players. I'd actually say the same about Alysha Clark. And Kate Martin only played 12 minutes and had 6 points. Whereas Tiffany Hayes played 21 minutes and only had 3 points. Kia Stokes 21 minutes, 12 rebounds, but zero points. Kelsey Plum had a good first half, but poor 2nd. Jackie Young just had a bad shooting night, filled with foul trouble. Aja Wilson had a great offensive night, but not torched by Jonquel Jones. Coach Becky never made any adjustments even though things clearly weren't going well. Plenty of blame to go around.
Whats up with all these turnovers there commiting. Trying to make Stokkes a scoring option is not working. Brick by Brick she's building a house out there. Money Martin is like loose change I ù⁸ Defense has been letdown.

Our greatest lessons come from trails and our toughest moments. I feel like the Aces are being battled tested. The only way through it is working as a team. I've watched their games this season and they look disjointed. There have been glimpses of their chemistry, but it hasn't been consistent for 40 minutes. The game has ebbs and flows and that's basketball but like coach said there hasn't been any consistency. Last season whenever they lost a game, the following game after the loss they were hungry to win. I'm believing they will build from these losses and get that fire back.

The inconsistency is killing them!! When they can shoot, they can’t rebound. Seems like in each game two players carry the team, it’s always A’ja and someone else. We need ALL of them to shoot the ball and score!! Way too much passing the ball - it’s like they are afraid to take the shot and all that excessive passing is causing a ton of turnovers. Let’s go Aces - you are so much better than how you’ve been playing!!

Actually I thought she had a great offensive game. Jackie Young was the one who was really off. I felt KP and Aja were the only two really keeping them in the game.
I actually think they should let her carry the offensive load, they need to help her defensively. If she shoots 25 times at her efficiency they win some of these games, instead of the others taking those shots. They also looked better offensively when she brings the ball up/initiates as opposed to KP.

Our greatest lessons come from trails and our toughest moments. I feel like the Aces are being battled tested. The only way through it is working as a team. I've watched their games this season and they look disjointed. There have been glimpses of their chemistry, but it hasn't been consistent for 40 minutes. The game has ebbs and flows and that's basketball but like coach said there hasn't been any consistency. Last season whenever they lost a game, the following game after the loss they were hungry to win. I'm believing they will build from these losses and get that fire back.

The inconsistency is killing them!! When they can shoot, they can’t rebound. Seems like in each game two players carry the team, it’s always A’ja and someone else. We need ALL of them to shoot the ball and score!! Way too much passing the ball - it’s like they are afraid to take the shot and all that excessive passing is causing a ton of turnovers. Let’s go Aces - you are so much better than how you’ve been playing!!
Coaches need to step up . The last few games clock management was terrible. We need more rotation off the bench too…

I actually think they should let her carry the offensive load, they need to help her defensively. If she shoots 25 times at her efficiency they win some of these games, instead of the others taking those shots. They also looked better offensively when she brings the ball up/initiates as opposed to KP.
