Good video. You could try using beeswax-based suede waterproofing treatment which can be a better alternative to synthetic sprays. Research well, though; waxing can darken the color of your suede. Also, check out the SUEDEPROOF spray from Armstrong's All Natural for a clear, eco friendly protecting spray (i've not used this.) You made great points in your video, outlining the sourcing of manufacturers and the use of synthetic fibers from UGG. I'd love to watch a video if you would like to point out the history of the two brands, or the sourcing of leather from each party. I've not concluded that this is true, only heard it as a rumor but my friend had mentioned that one of these brands was not animal friendly? I replied that it's natural leather, and it is animal pelt, but no clear points were made. Perhaps a second video would suffice :)
The reason why they changed it to 1974 when it shipped to the United States is because UGGs in the United States stole their brand so that’s why they put 1974
Just make sure that you're ordering your US size on the Ugg Since 1974 site. They have the sizing as AU/US / UK / EU, and I accidentally used the UK sizing numbers instead of the US sizing numbers
I just bought 2 pair of Ugg knockoffs at Costco for $25.00 each. However I do really like this style shoe I have had US UGG boots that was disappointing but and try order these Australian made ones. Thanks!
Amazing video thank you for the info ❤

@@waiger thank you for the tips and feedback!!
Super helpful!
how did you get the “UGG” label on the shoes for instead of the “since 1974” label? bc the website says it changes the label when shipping overseas
Actually I'm not sure! I wasn't aware before this that they swap labels. Might be a new change since I bought these shoes about a year ago

@@brownsugarcoffee1 lol truth!
So for the sizing we look at the UGG size?
