I made 10 videos playlist on Ansys Fluent. Then I made 10 videos playlist on OpenFOAM. Now I again plan to make 2nd playlist of 10 videos on Ansys Fluent. So sit tight. Lot of new Ansys Fluent videos are on their way.
Thanks for the great video. At 14:18 you say that the values of the simulations cannot be compared to experimental results. Why is that? Please explain that statement. Thanks again.
Thank you very much for this video, and I wish there was an educational video on the channel on designing fluid flow inside a pipe that contains a narrowing in the middle
Hello Sir..Little curious to know why no inflation layer has been taken in meshing?.Also is it possible to get any material pertinent to flow in vertical pipe?
Dear Sir, I have one question about the in inlet and outlet boundary conditions. The molten salt enter a pipe with 5m lenght and 20mm diameter and 500k . The pipe is made of stainless steel. The heat flux is 800,000kW/m2. So how much should be the inlet flow rate up to we receive the outlet tempereture 800K. It will be highly appreciated when you guide e the boundary conditions in inlet and outlet in such a case. Thank you.
Hello. It is not so straightforward to calculate. However, you can get the inlet flow rate by doing some trial runs. You can create a CAD model for your pipe and apply the above-mentioned boundary conditions for temperature and heat flux in ANSYS. However, you should at least know the velocity or flow rate at the outlet. Then you can use pressure inlet and velocity outlet boundary conditions to run the simulation. After calculation is complete, the software will give you values for velocity or flow rate at inlet.
Hello. Make sure u have selected volume select filter while selecting the geometry for meshing method. Also make sure you are using ANSYS 19 or above version.
Good! red color indicates 0.13m/s, not 1.3 m/s. it is in center of pipe. The input velocity 0.1m/s is average velocity. Thanks lot!. pls make a tutorial on airborne dust simulation in tunnel!
@@cfdbabaopenfoamansyscfd2972 hello, Thanks for the reply!. please take the underground tunnel dimension as 5mX5mX100m. Air velocity = 4m/s. point dust source may be at 0.2kg/s in anyplace in the tunnel. thanks a lot again!
Hi, thanks for the video. There might be a problem defining water as the fluid inside the pipe. You selected water in the "Materials" section. Still, you didn't choose it in the "Cell Zone Conditions" section. So, the fluid inside the pipe is the air, not water.
Hello. Well, at first it may seem a bit boring. But believe me, it will get better and better once you start watching the other tutorials I have posted after this one.

Ansys softwar, is it free to download it ? thank's in advance.
@@youssefmouacha3296 Yes you can download ANSYS free students version from ANSYS official website.
Hello good sir, i would like to suggest and see a tutorial for a horizontal condensate separator. Thank you in advance
@@cfdbabaopenfoamansyscfd2972 Can you tell me which laptop configuration can run Ansys software well? Thanks a lot
Great video, very clear to follow. Thank you very much for this! Hope we could see some more ansys fluent :))

Great suggestion! I will try to do it soon.
such a great video, thank you so much sir !

Is the recent iris xe graphics with the 11th gen i5 16gb ram compatible and sufficient with ansys for low medium 3d simulations?
Hello. Yes the mentioned specifications are sufficient for low and medium scale simulations.
@@cfdbabaopenfoamansyscfd2972 Have you tried to run ansys on 11th gen i5 laptop with integrated iris xe graphics ? Does it work or not ?
Hi. I have not personally used system integrated with iris xe graphics. However you can try to run ansys on it and let us all know if it is a success.

can i use this to simulate water turbine in pipe?
Ansys simulation can put fbg sensor?
