Love that Defenders of The Earth and He-Man always had a moral for each episode. A signature of 80’s cartoons. Very happy to be an 80’s kid. Not gonna lie, have revisited many of the cartoons I loved back then as an adult. 🤣
Even though i agree with the message here i do think schools should teach these things and animation shows should have been more fun. I get the feeling schools and parents left it all to the tv-shows as they felt they had to do it appearantly.

Tbh I'm surprised if flash Gordon came he would go NEW YORK JETS on everybody and phantom and mandrake would haunt those teens with dark magic for life and lothar would just beyond scare straight those dudes by clobbering em left and right
Mandrake is the only grown Defender to appear in this episode, he only has a minor role and doesn't wear his usual costume. Flash Gordon, Phantom and Lothar are absent.
Most likely probably fighting a jungle battle with flash Gordon and lothar or they could be MAKING trouble in ming the merciless spaceship but that's a Saturday morning joke😂 It would be nuts if hey caught them or jedda in drinking party Reminds me when flash Gordon was having a drinking party with mark Wahlberg and ted But off the record if phantom saw the drinking party he would go spirits of ten tigers on everybody and then go Jungle wild all over the place

That's a different episode from the usual stuff. There were some pretty adult themes every now and then in DOE.
We need a REVIVAL of cartoon messages like this, especially for this upcoming generation. 🙏🏾
