I knew it was going to be tough when he picked it up and it was stiff as a 82 hilux suspension.
Watching this brought back a memory from my old man vault. Many many moons ago when I was about 12 months old I spent some time with foster parents. When my parents reconciled they became good friends of the foster folk. They became defacto Uncle and Aunty and the kids were our 'cousins'. Anyway, when I was about 4 or 5 years old (I think) we were having dinner with them and there was some strange meat on our plate. I asked Mum what it was and she said, "It's Chicken, just eat it." I remember tasting it and saying (at a table of 4 adults and 6 kids) "This chicken tastes baaad". I also remember the clip around the ear from my father. Some weeks later, dad and 'Uncle Harold' took me rabbit hunting with Harold's Ferrets. Fuck. I always thought Uncle Harold's Ferrets were just angry pets. Oh, and that's the day I realised that it was Rabbit on my plate. 8:35 It tastes like partly off chicken that's been overcooked with a real gamey aftertaste.
What you wanna do is make rabbit pie
Dice it up and cook it in a pan with some flour, vegetable stock bitta mustard bitta onion lil bitta garlic, handful of cheese, few dollops of cream cook the meat before you put everything else in, then buy some puff pastry and cut it accordingly to fit in a muffin pan, put cut out pastry in muffin pans and fill with meat mixture and put more pastry on top and cook until golden brown, make sure you grease the muffin pan pan
