When I first heard of Speakers Corner, I thought it was a pretty cool idea to have a place, where you can publicly talk about any topic you like and people listen. Later I realized that we already have that. It's called the internet. What I failed to predict was, that these situations inevitably turn into flame wars. Online and in real life.
