Thank you for sharing such a touching story, although I didn't understand the whole thing just a few words here and there, even though I'm filipino, I lost my native language in speak and reading when I move to Hawaii, I can only understand some tagalog and ilocano, Ilocano was my language but I've learn some tagalog from my family and when I stayed in the Philippines, the funny thing is, when i was there, I blend in with everyone as long as I don't say anything but! as soon as open my mouth and speak in english, like the time I was riding a jeepny everyone in the jeepney looked at me as if I was an alien haha, I was shock lol, so I tried to learn. My Dad was an immigrant from the Philippines. He came here through Hilo, Hawaii working in the sugarcane then on to Central California working in the fields. This song always reminds me of him. Howzit bradda, I know what you mean thats why, it was hard for me to keep a straight face, because I also lost my dad years back, he was an American citizen born in Hawaii, went back to the Philippines meet my mom had a family there, brought us all back to Hawaii.. so when I was listening to this song it made me choked up and I started to get emotional. so we kinda have the same path, for us to return the love and hard work that our parents did for us to have better life, we need to make sure never forget what they did for us, give back the kinda love to our own kids that our parents gave us to make sure that they have a good life, pass down the story of their grand parents to our kids. let them know that hard work that they sacrifice for a better life for all their kids and grand kids. You mentioned that you would not be doing music video reactions temporarily, it's just too bad that you may not be able to react anymore to SB19's What? and Bazinga music videos. Actually they have a lot of material but these 2 songs I think would interest you being an artist/director. The members of SB19 are very hands on with their material, they are involved in composing the songs (main composer is their leader Pablo who composed MAPA and the other songs I mentioned above), choreography of dance steps needed and the creative aspect of their music videos. Thank you for sharing such a touching story, although I didn't understand the whole thing just a few words here and there, even though I'm filipino, I lost my native language in speak and reading when I move to Hawaii, I can only understand some tagalog and ilocano, Ilocano was my language but I've learn some tagalog from my family and when I stayed in the Philippines, the funny thing is, when i was there, I blend in with everyone as long as I don't say anything but! as soon as open my mouth and speak in english, like the time I was riding a jeepny everyone in the jeepney looked at me as if I was an alien haha, I was shock lol, so I tried to learn. My Dad was an immigrant from the Philippines. He came here through Hilo, Hawaii working in the sugarcane then on to Central California working in the fields. This song always reminds me of him. Howzit bradda, I know what you mean thats why, it was hard for me to keep a straight face, because I also lost my dad years back, he was an American citizen born in Hawaii, went back to the Philippines meet my mom had a family there, brought us all back to Hawaii.. so when I was listening to this song it made me choked up and I started to get emotional. so we kinda have the same path, for us to return the love and hard work that our parents did for us to have better life, we need to make sure never forget what they did for us, give back the kinda love to our own kids that our parents gave us to make sure that they have a good life, pass down the story of their grand parents to our kids. let them know that hard work that they sacrifice for a better life for all their kids and grand kids. I've watched reactors young and old react the way you have. One young teenage reactor also had dust in his eyes. Another called his mother while on the reaction. You mentioned that you would not be doing music video reactions temporarily, it's just too bad that you may not be able to react anymore to SB19's What? and Bazinga music videos. Actually they have a lot of material but these 2 songs I think would interest you being an artist/director. The members of SB19 are very hands on with their material, they are involved in composing the songs (main composer is their leader Pablo who composed MAPA and the other songs I mentioned above), choreography of dance steps needed and the creative aspect of their music videos.
