I had to stop consuming so much Christian and spiritual content, & I make content! Too many different people saying different things and it doesn't feel right. I felt like I was obsessing or idolizing the content. I had to get back to the basics: 1:1 time with Jesus, prayer, worship, Bible and being like Christ.

Nick, I'm an older white woman and the only reason I say I'm white is because the world seems so caught up with separating all of us, according to our pigmentation. As Christian brothers and sisters, we are all gonna be family for eternity. You are one of the first Utube channels I started following, because I absolutely love your honesty, and as parents, we need to be aware of what's out there because of our children, or grandchildren. You are always careful not to condemn people, and you show the good, along with the bad. I've been hooked ever since you did the video of the young man in his car, that was talking about how he got high and a Jay-Z album he listened to really affected him. I was able to share that video with my 29yr old son, and it helped my son! Thankyou! God bless you, and your family! You do an awesome job! Keeping you in my prayers, and sending love from Texas!❤

I take everything Don says with a grain of salt. I watched this man over the course of the year jump from theology to theology. First it was free grace, then it was hebrew roots, then he denied the trinity, and now he’s into calvinism. If he went through all of this privately it wouldn’t be an issue but he did this publicly trying to be a teacher leading many including myself astray. His words hold virtually no weight.

  • @RayorBanz

Sounds like he called you out Nick... Cause clearly you post about these things he mentioned. Now you trying to justify it 😂😂

  • @LittleLight-777

Nick Jones - I believe it’s time for you to do Bible study and open up your channel for testimony’s and let the church or gathering of sheep feed on milk and meat. I don’t know if you have a Discord or anything, but that will be the best way to represent the Kingdom of God.

  • @cinegoth4144

I have to be careful how much Christian RUclips I consume because too many different opinions. Some of it helps, but I have to turn to the Bible.

  • @ItsKrissssP

I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so definitely no hate to Don. However, content like Nick’s can also show us in Christ how to respond to worldly things or still be informed with what’s going on in the world without being OF the world. I’ve also seen several videos where Nick says, “read your Word”, “make sure y’all are in your Bibles”, etc. As believers, we don’t always have to be so serious. It’s okay to relax and enjoy lighthearted things. While there are several reasons I enjoy Nick’s content, I personally do not see anything wrong with it.

  • @alismoran777

I disagree with him. I think it’s important to stay informed about what is going on in the world, especially if you have children. I appreciate your content because it is edifying. You don’t just leave it at the reaction. You definitely give us a word from God. I believe people are called to different kinds of ministry. And alerting the body of Christ of deceptions going on is an important role. Also so we can pray for those that are lost.

I live in Atlanta and was doing Lyft during a Chrisitian conference and i had your videos playing when a couple from the conference got in. They were quiet the whole time and when they were getting out they leaned over and asked for the name of your channel. Your videos are enjoyed and edifying at least for me and im glad that i was able to put someone onto your channel

  • @doreenscott4654

I am a mature aged female Christian from Australia and I have quite often watched your content. You are honest, sincere and your love for Heavenly Father is very obvious. Just stay real. Don't be hard on yourself. Praise God for those people who are real and walk daily with our Lord Jesus. Stay real...😊

  • @credodeo-me1wb

You are right with what you said. "Are we supposed to stay silent?" But so far, i haven't seen a vid where you didn't know how to speak respectfully or informativ about a topic. As far as i can see, you good Homie!

  • @shadowm2k7

Before i was born again, my entire RUclips feed & consumption was Drag Race videos, pro LGBT issues videos, reddit stories that seemed to always be about cheating/gossip/lying etc, true crime videos/murder, gossip channels, people getting cancelled & drama videos.

I appreciate Don because He did leave the "worldly" content behind for a life of chasing after Jesus, but in my opinion, he should not be a content creator, at least in Christian spaces. Don has changed his mind and stance on theology every few months and His crowd eats it up, follows him, and hangs on every word he says. In my opinion, no new Christian should be teaching like He's doing. He's confused so many people over the past year, and for what? From King James Onlyism to Denying the Trinity ALL IN THE SPAN OF 1 YEAR!! I really pray he settles down to figure out what he believes because flipping around like that isn't just bad for him, but for the many young ones watching him and others new to the faith. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:23 “All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up. You don't need to dive into the Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic every time you log onto RUclips. So much head knowledge and scripture recitement from him only to miss the mark on what the text is saying. I have watched him for the past year and some change. New Christians should focus on reading the scripture. Take time to understand things, ask elders to flesh out their questions, learn, etc."Hanging out" with a Christian content creator is fine too-- we should all just be careful not to neglect our own realtionship with God.

  • @KaireeSYNG5

Keep doing what you’re doing man… Christians are soooo afraid to live… everybody can’t be the same… that’s why people in the “world” think we’re so boring 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️ everyone can’t be doing the same thing… we need Christian artists, comedians, podcasts, politicians, musicians of all genres, actors, chefs… ETC…ETC… everyone can’t be a preacher/prophet in the pulpit 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️ the world need to see us living and thriving in ALL areas of influence… let God use you how He uses YOU!! As long as your heart is right…people will get what they need out of it! This is your ministry 🤷🏿‍♂️ MINISTER!!!!

  • @dollyhadbraces4345

Young Don has grown so much spiritually tho…it’s been hard to watch because it’s been so public but it’s very real and raw. I respect that so much.

  • @earthlldela

I beg to differ... I had to unfollow Yung Don due to the constant change in his views. It was clear to me he was still a babe in Christ and shouldn't be preaching online. It resulted in much confusion. I also unfollowed many others.

  • @youareloved1455

I've been trying to replace my old habits with new and godlier ones, and as someone who watched a lot of Aba and Preach and other channles like that, I've found that your videos have helped my ears to hear more edifying things. This channel is a nice place for Christians to relax and get some godly perspective on the things going on today. Thanks for letting God use you to help people like me.

  • @SherlonRussell

Nick Jones, I just subscribed to your page because your humility stands out. I see the grace of God on you. God bless you! Keep making God the shepherd of your heart.

I think he's right about most of it. To be honest, sometimes I click off a video when I don't feel the content is beneficial. But it's the responsibility of each person who views online content to make sure that their main source of spiritual information is coming directly from the Bible. We need to spend enough time in the Word so that when we do watch a video, we have the knowledge and discernment to know if what's being said is biblical or not. Videos should never be the main source of our spiritual food. And I say that knowing that I can be as guilty of it as the next person. I need to spend more time in the Word and in prayer, even though I do read it every day.
