  • A sow picks up three tiny cubs by the scruff of the neck, one after the other, and moves them to a new part of the sett.
The sow has difficulty getting the first cub through the lower section of a fence, and the cub wastes no time in noisily complaining about the rough treatment.
The commotion, as is often the case, alerts at least one other badger to the scene, and the cub can then be heard squealing whilst the sound of an angry / aggressive adult can also be heard.
The sow changes route to bring in the second cub, but reverts to the original route with the third.
(I hope that the first cub survived the attentions of the other, aggressive adult - that seems likely as the sow subsequently carried in the other two).
