I was expecting the same features as what Honda has with our neighboring Southeast Asian Countries, they could have keep it for the Filipino consumers to rival the chinese Brands especially the coolray, in my opinion the top of the line with its price point has least to offer. It looks great though.

It seems that the entry level version is a City on Stilts. Same engine but higher ground clearance. It all boils down to one's preference. At a little below 1.6 million, the Turbo spec is almost touching the PPV SUV pricing category. The Honda Sensing and turbocharged engine are much appreciated, but I feel it also deserves Power Tail gate, Wireless Charging and Power adjustable seats to justify the price. Had it been the BRV, these missed features were understandable.
I think Honda just blew it. They should have brought the hybrid HRV variant here in the Philippines. Toyota has the Corolla Cross. Now, it looks like Nissan is bringing the Kicks. Other manufacturers (I believe Mazada and Suzuki) will be introducing hybrid models as well.
I'm Indonesian and wondering how much the Top V turbos are selling for in the Philippines? I always thought we in Indonesia always got the short end of the stick when it comes to Honda, but here it appears that Honda isn't even bringing the top RS varian there. In Indo the RS Variant has an electric tailgate and moonroof but, compared to the European spec it's still way lackluster (missing a lot of techs). In Indo the top RS Variant is selling for around IDR 500 million (1,81 Million PHP if google is correct) and the non Turbo ranged from 356-400+ Million.

I’m digging the S variant. Just enough features for my needs, a non turbo (hopefully fuel efficient) engine which is what I prefer, rear AC vents (huge deal for me) and no sunroof! Only thing I want that is missing are power folding side mirrors. Really tempted to get one!

I was waiting for it too tbh but upon learning it’s mostly the same minus the engine, I opted to get the s variant and boom got a unit for release this weekend. Also who needs a turbo engine when its so traffic here and for sure most will use their suvs for out of town trips. I dont mind territory cos its takaw sa gas given gas prices are terribly high

at 1.25M.. easy pass to. this car is made for people with smaller build. im not even talking about width.. yung height.. anyone over 5'8 will have a hard time getting in on the driver's seat.
I drove the old HrV 1.8 and the engjne is really does not give any performance even in high rev... it simply crawls to speed and it is not in ECON... so with a 1.5 engine and non turbo... I doubt it is better than the old one....
