I am in love with this woman ! Maria is precisely what the brass band movement needs . How can any player not play well when she conducts and engages with the audience so brilliantly ?? I wish there were more ' Marias ' in the UK so then brass bands wouldn't be folding up as they do . Bands people wouldn't get bored and give up playing, as they seem to do with so many of us stuck in ' old fashioned traditions ' .
