For context I'm currently trying to no damage this boss myself, the nerfed version, with a full blessing character who could end the fight in 4 minutes if I can pull it off. I no hit Messmer, Rellanna, Midra, Romina, and Malenia. I have over 15 hours of attempts on this guy and I'm still nowhere close to finishing this fight.
Man, I'm doing an rl1 no scadu run and now I can't bitch about this boss being impossible. Also really cool placement for dodging the frame trap double swipe.
No matter how many times I've seen the double swipe dodge I still do not understand how people do that, the same for parry of this move. Great work, man!
Light roll and always staying to his side (I prefer left) helps a ton. You stay to his side, and roll his first swipe like you’d always do. But the second swipe will miss, then you just dodge third hit like normal.
It’s unreliable, but the most consistent method without backstep is indeed the above. I just kind of roll my eyes when i get hit by that move though to be honest. It’s absurdly annoying the setup you have to do always in anticipation of him doing it. Always at the left hip, FAR left, having to unlock and manually basically behind him, as this guy shows, and then rolling straight to the side when he does it. Light roll makes it more consistent too of course. With medium roll it might as well be gambling.

this is the first time i have seen anyone dodg the meteors+5 slam attack by rolling into him and under him like that woow. Also you are the only one I saw that dodge his sky slam + explosion instead of just running away. this is absolutely insane man congratz

The others go hard too but I got sick of Mesmer talking smack and Radahn here really does have some great audio queues that I couldn’t consistently hear with his OST, so I had to shut it off as well :’( RIP
@@Megidolaon999 He used rot AND poison AND frostbite, which makes it a ton easier than not. Ongbal has done the same run without statuses and so have I. It's a LOT harder without those than you think lmao.

Wouldnt hefty rot pot be better if you just want to proc scarlet rot ? Heard their rot is also the deadly variant that deals more damage for shorter duration (30 sec) like scarlet aeonia too, cmiiw tho
Yeah, two hefty rot pots when Radahn is doing the T-pose move will proc rot on him for the rest of the fight, but that's in normal conditions where the fight doesn't last this long, he would need to throw more pots every time Radahn does the T-pose move.
For me, that is his curse btw, the fact that his curse is eternal childhood is basically meaning that the curse are "doomed to failed at anything." He created The Haligtree hoping it would be the next Erdtree but failed. He failed to reaches adulthood. He failed crafting the needle that stops the rot. Miquella's Needle was half complete which simply "halting" the rot. He even failed to execute his plan of creating the Age of Compassion. He is "Cursed to fail forever"
Bruh ng+2 regular field enemies were too much for me to handle, i kept screaming WHYY do they do SOO MUCHH DMG!!! then i remembered i was playing on my ng+2 file 😐 lol

Consort takes much more precise positioning across the entire fight, his position is also harder to maintain than Malenia’s. Running away from Consort at any point in p2 can mean almost certain death
Absolutely ASTOUNDING - is that meteor+clones dodge light roll only? Regardless I am deeply impressed, few things as amazing as watching you just sit still and casually dodge the meteor

Welp... I'm about 8 hours into this boss on NG and still nowhere near being able to beat it. I still get killed almost instantly in phase 2. Most I ever got him down to 50% health. Man do I hate this fucking boss.
If you wanna solo him but you can't reliably dodge him, just parry. Makes the fight way more consistent and you can ignore a lot of the bs. It still gonna take time to learn the parry timing of the cross slash combo tho.

Know that I know you need to position constantly, I can actually notice him doing it throughout the fight

Is there a particular attack that you need the extra talisman for?
It helps with rolling early on certain attacks to give enough time to punish + reposition in time to anticipate the cross-slash
