- In today's video, I'm participating in the $5 Goodwill Challenge! The goal is to spend $5 or less on some new Christmas decor from a thrift store, etc. I'll be sharing what I picked up and how I'm using them in my Hot Cocoa bar! It looks so good! We too have a hot cocoa bar on a smaller scale. I did it last year and the kids asked me to set it up again. So I believe it will become a tradition. And after school is when my kids love to have it too. Its so fun. P.S. I started watching your channel as few weeks ago and I love it. Thank you for being you and sharing your life. I have four boys ages 8, 9, 16 and 17. It makes me sad that my littlest boy just turned 8, so I love watching your channel and seeing your cute kiddos. Plus your just so down to earth and real, and I feel like I can really relate. Several you tubers I watch can act really prissy a lot and it gets old. Thank you for being you.

Yes, I do add hot cocoa to our coffee and tea bar. It’s a little more simplified because of space, but I love adding in my Christmas mugs and my red and green fiestaware (I collect it too). Plus lots of marshmallows! I love the glass canisters, too....there are so many things to do with them! Your cocoa bar looks so great...I fuss around with everything, too, until it looks just right, so I get that!! 😊❤️

What a cute cocoa bar!!! I made one for the first time this year too. Mine is a little more decorative than useful as I have a tiny kitchen but I did decorate a little table in the dining room with cute cups and items from Hobby Lobby - all cocoa or marshmallow related - and a couple signs. I LOVE the Santa Jar! Very unique!! Good find. I have the snowman jar but don't remember when/where it came from. I believe it was a gift. I love snowmen and put those items out in January. Great video as always! ;-)

Yes, I have a hot chocolate bar this year. It’s an area between my fridge and stove. It’s really adorable. I added boxwood wreaths with red and black buffalo check ribbon above the bar on the two white cabinets. That was my beginning point and inspiration. I put some mugs on a cake plate to give interest. I also added a couple of red tea towels below some of the items. Also, I used actual cocoa powder in the clear container with a fancy silver spoon inside to make it look authentic. I got mugs that are dishwasher and microwave safe. Also, because I was having a blast, I printed out labels on some of the containers and hung them with the twine that you used. Yeah, I’ve had a ball! First time I’ve done this!

Hi-maybe this is over-kill, but what about this idea: tie a little scarf around the glass snowman you have filled with marshmallows and if you can pry the seal off its lid, put some black paper inside it to highlight the hat’s shape? Also red instead the Santa lid? Very pretty and cute idea. Always such a pretty home.

Sooooo cute! What a total score to find those Santa and snowman jars! I’m going to go to Goodwill today!! My kids are teenagers and we recently moved to another state and have 5 of their friends from where we used to live coming to stay with us for a week after Christmas so I am totally setting this up for them!! The glass containers were great finds! You can't go wrong with that price point! Love your set-up! I'm sure your children are loving it as well! I don't have a coffee bar, per se. Crystal it is perfect! I'm sure the kid's are going to love it. You could leave it out just about year round using your Fiesta mugs... I can see heart shaped chocolate spoons for Valentines day😍 And of course valentine mugs!

You have a big RUclips family now as well! Yes, I made a hot cocoa bar for the 1st time this year. Mine is really simple with cocoa mix and mini marshmallows (in jars) and a red mug holding candy canes and spoons on a decorative tray. I will have to buy some of those K cups as well to try. Your set up is super cute!

I recently found the snowman jar at a thrift store it was 1.99 and a white ceramic santa pitcher so beautiful 2.99, now I had that snowman jar for years then one day I decided to donate to that thrift store, oh! I almost cried when I realized what I did, then I found 5 years later.
I saw a Cocoa bar and the lady put
Mini marshmallows in the bodyand mini chocolate chips in the hat in that same snowman jar.
So I spent 5 dlls and loved what I got. Also there a lot of really cute
Christmas cups a found 3 different Santa mugs.

I have a hot cocoa bar and a coffee bar for the first time ever. My coffee is in the kitchen as it is all year. My cocoa bar is in my family room. I actually have a bar designed for alcohol ( it was here when bought the house) but we only drink wine once in a while so it gets used for all sorts of things. Besides cocoa there is alot of candy and cookies. I'm always rearranging though. 😀🏜🎄🎄

I'll probably be tweaking it until the day before I take it all down. lol! I love your GoodWill finds! I love how your cocoa bar turned out. One day I will have to create one too. I looked up the Santa jar and found that the manufacturer is Luminarc but I couldn't find our how old it is. You got a great deal, I just saw one on Ebay for $23, so your's was definitely a great find. :)
