I believe that if you are asking God to bless you where you are and you are not where you are supposed to be that it more than likely is not going to happen. Many times we as Christians do our own will and choose our own path and then expect God to bless the mess, or the dead end that we find ourselves in. You may not be in obvious sin. You may be a good person, however, the bible says that God chooses the exact times and places for us to live. Did you choose what you would make of your life or did God. Many times we think that if a thing seems good to us then God must be ok with it too. Not so. Look at what Proverbs says. "There is a way that seems right to a person but the end is destruction." Prov14:12 It's not that God will not forgive. He will, but you have to come to a point where you say, ' Ok, Lord. I am somewhere that you did not choose for me. Please forgive me for going my own way and take me where I should be.' Yes, God can change any circumstance but he is not going to bless disobedience or rebellion. You may not have even known that you were going the wrong way at first BUT....If God does not seem to be hearing you or answering you it may be it is time to have a heart to heart with the Holy Spirit. Ask for true Godly sorrow that brings true repentance. You don't want to say your sorry when you do not even feel like you did something wrong. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you. Humble yourself under his mighty hand and in due time he will lift you up.
