    i think the reason people are told to avoid sugar is that sugar spikes up the insulin level in your body and when it goes down you feel lethargic. the food we generally have contain natural sugar in it like fruits and vegetables. Those natural sugar are good and result in lower insulin spike. The calories in sugar are not the main problem but the insulin spike it causes is. Therefore it is considered best to avoid processed sugar.

    Yes sir you are correct some people on RUclips hyped and telling that even we can not have 2 tea for a day as it promotes cancerous cells🙄.I do not consume cold drink .but two times tea with one spoon of sugar.thanks for this video

      @Arrow In The Quiver Even without quitting sugar, you can live a healthy life. My blood work is perfect and I consume almost 6-8 teaspoons every single day. Please don't make your own anecdotes to prove your point. Even the US FDA suggests that 10 teaspoons per day or 10% of the calories through sugars each day is totally fine.

    Sir I read it somewhere that frequent Glucose spike/glycemic variability is one of the biggest reasons of all the bad things that can happen to us later down the line-like less longevity chances, diseases etc.
    Can I suppress this effect of sugar by adding things that lowers blood sugar levels,like cinnamon?

    The brain requires glucose for brain cell energy. As neurons can't store energy, they need a continuous supply of fuel from the bloodstream to function correctly. Your ability to think, learn and recall information is closely associated with your glucose levels.
    Excess of anything is bad and this limit varies from person to person depending on body, daily activity, geography and many other factors and likewise shortage of sugar is bad your brain will stop working properly.

      Wrong. There is zero requirement of artificial sugar. An apple (100gms) has about 11 GM's of sugar in it. Carbs are highly available from natural sources. You do not require a single gram of artificial sugar.
      What the video's point is that you may have a spoon of sugar. But that does not make it necessary like you are stating.

    I have been using jaggery for last 2-3 months instead of sugar and I feel less lethargic, my digestion is working better and my sugar cravings are also massively reduced plus it tastes good as well.

    You should also tell viewers not to consume refined sugar which is full of chemicals and also bleached! Rather they can consume tea etc.with honey, Khand, coconut sugar or Jaggery!
