Everytime I watch you reaction you always impress me. Finally someone who's intelligent, who know how to understand lyrics and videos, and who is not obsessed by sexual connotation this song has. Yeah there is explicit version of this song that's more focused on sexual part but Jungkook didn't chose this clean version to be official without a reason. People need to understand that there for a reason two versions and that they should look on them as two different song or at least as two different emotion. This clean version still is about making love but like you said it's about something more deeper then just a s*x, this is about true love and two soulmates. That's why Jungkook make MV like this. To show that he's feelings are deep, true and serious for her, that he's loyal and would do everything for her, focus only on her and always make her his priority. In explicit version we still have all those emotion but everything is more about passion / desire for s*x.
@@angiesplaylist23 exactly. And we know that female rappers like Latto are ..i don't want to say vulgar but they are, they most of the time rap about s*x, p*ssy, booty, ect. There's some spitters out there in the underground that deserve a chance to shine
@@arcollins040thomas8 No but he's right. Jk sings the same things in the explicit ver but that "f u right" line and the "you ride" thing. That doesn't change the overall song by that much tho. It's still about commitment, consistancy, obsession and devotion. Bcs he loves and likes her, that's just what he'll do to show the depth of his love, it's his "way" of showing it. As knox said, not a fling, one time let's get it on thing. If it's everyday, then that is devotion.😂 His lyrics expressed that sentiment, even how he sings those said lines aren't with a shallow sense, he sings it as a fact, not as a " i'll do this if you choose me and i'll do it now" kind of sentiment. Latto did well, it flowed and fit with the overall song. She even expressed the consistancy of the relationship with several sheets ig. It's just that it's typical female mainstream rap. To match with the lyrics before her she could've placed at least a bit more depth to her part. I'm no rapper or singer, this is just what i felt as a listener and someone whose been a fan of his and bts's for long. If it's bts, they will somehow find a way to connect to their roots in every song. It is just who they are and who they've grown to become.
I think Latto's verse goes with the explicit version better. lol. I liked it. And in the end they walked off into the storm together (instead of a sunset or something romantic). Not that relationships are chaotic all the time but it can seem like it.
to me the the beat remembered tlc -no scrubs, lyrics wise Craig David- 7days was on my mind. specially in the explicit version, which aligns even more? btw totally the explicit version (to me) was made to be the main and sole version. the mv clean one doesn't compare to the explicit one

Everyone in the comments: Watch the explicit version! Latto's verse makes sense then. Kkkkkk. Guys, we didn't need the explicit version to know what the song was about. It's not like "OMG he said f*cking! Now it's about sex!" It was always about sex. But there are different kinds of sex and different ways to talk about it. In order, the lyrics talk about sex in the context of: Comfort/support, Gratitude, Tenderness, Chemistry, Commitment, Knowing/doing what your lover loves, Giving everything, Devotion, Depth, Self control, Desire to please, Chemistry and Commitment again. In short, the context is love. It has emotional depth and is romantic. Changing the one word to f*cking does shift the tone slightly more casual and crass, but it does not change any of the other words that make up the bulk of the song. It is one word, open to interpretation. Latto's verse, on the other hand, is: pornographic, selfish, bragging about numbers and stamina, bragging about the acts to be done, sluuurrrrrp, he'll stay because of her skill in bed solely. It's all about physical pleasure and fun. Her verse has the emotional depth of a carnival ride. It's crass and shallow. It simply doesn't fit with the rest of the song. She needed to have a cleaner version of her verse to fit. Even for the explicit version, honestly. It's just lazy and crass, and it doesn't compare to the writing of the rest of the song. The critique is completely valid.
Honestly, replacing "loving you right" with "fu** you right" (explicit version) doesn't change much. We all know what "loving" in an "implicit version" means. It was not necessary for him to do another version, just to say "fuck". But maybe this is what he wanted for some reason. I 100% agree with Knox on his interpretation. Latto's verse has no creative impact on a song, it's repetitive, you could have switched her with Megan and no one would see the difference. Plus her image makes this clever, uplifting MV with a deeper meaning a vulgar one. You can see people reacting to this part with embarrassment.
Yep, I didn't need to hear the explicit version to know what the song meant. So in my standard, this isn't even a clean version, especially with Latto's verse. I'm happy for JK, this is so brave of him, but this song isn't for everyone's liking and I hope some ARMYs get to accept that.
@@goldenpeace6637 I agree with you that this version can be considered a not-really-clear one. As much as we love them, we don't have to love everything they put out.
If it's everyday, then that is devotion.😂
His lyrics expressed that sentiment, even how he sings those said lines aren't with a shallow sense, he sings it as a fact, not as a " i'll do this if you choose me and i'll do it now" kind of sentiment.
Gracias por reaccionar a JK 💜 me gusta .
Спасибо за реакцию! Обожаем нашего Чонгука. Он крутой!
to me the the beat remembered tlc -no scrubs, lyrics wise Craig David- 7days was on my mind. specially in the explicit version, which aligns even more?
btw totally the explicit version (to me) was made to be the main and sole version. the mv clean one doesn't compare to the explicit one
I've listened to this version over and over today and agree 100% with your reaction! I listened to but didn't need the other version. Enjoyed hearing you rap and thanks for your reactions. 💜💜
Jungkook's a versatile vocalist.
U can check out his others songs.
Last year, he sang & performed the song "Dreamers" for the FIFA WORLD CUP 2022.
You can also check out his other self produced & self composed songs of various genres.
"Still with you"(Jazz) &"My time"(RnB).
Her rap fits better with the explicit version!
I like his reaction at latto's part 😭😭
He had me at "take my hands & trace your lines"! Is this what I've been missing with BTS & K POP? 🔥🤯 Another gr8 breakdown Professor ✌️🖤
This is new vibr from a member but BTS and the members individually have soooooomany good songs.
@squishycoveswena rad! I'll have to check more out! thanks ✌️🖤🖤🖤
Knox Hill, you remember hanging out in 2000 listening to "Fill Me In" and "7 Days" by Craig David too?!?! Man those were jams! 😂
Amazing reaction, loved so much how you explained techniques and influences, I felt I learned so much. I can't stop listening go Seven, feels so refreshing.
How did Dolly Parton get there?
I love your reactions especially when you cover BTS!!! Your analysis of music is spot on!! No matter the weather in life I’m with you represents song!! You need to view explicit version 💜🤞🏽💜
He disrupts people online coz of the explicit version.Never knew it was coming from sweet Jungkookah🥰
Loved this song. Loved the rap line of Latto and she has a great voice. Kudos to them.😊❤
I'm so happy that you reacted to this song , Thank you
Honestly, replacing "loving you right" with "fu** you right" (explicit version) doesn't change much.
Agreed. The song didn’t need the shock value.
We also can like this song partly😏. Having seen a couple of reactions and having read some comments I wish people would concentrate more on the commitment and persistence in a relationship that the MV conveys.
@@AnnaBielinska-fp5hu that I can get on board with. That makes me reconsider the "clean" version. I can only wish there was a version without Latto's lines, like ON without Sia 😅 but it is what it is.
Love your reactions ‼️ at first I didn’t get Latto’s part in this but after hearing the explicit version it definitely fits well 💜
JK, never disappoint me, our MAKNAE is not only the singer or the rapper that we know, the guy could act too"🤟🏿👌🫰🏿🎊🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉🎈🎈🎈🎄🎄🎄‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ 7:57 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💕🇵🇭🇺🇸
JUNGKOOK ES UN GENIO NATURAL DE LA MUSICA
Yeah I agree with u..it's has Craig David vibes to it😉 bcoz he had a song Seven Days
Love your reaction and analysis. First person I’ve heard reference Craig David. Good take. JK definitely stepped out of his box and tried something new. The video is so cheeky and so JK coded. 😂 And his vocals are so so beautiful.
Craig David was also my first association. ^^ The distinction in content is more valid with the clean version, though.
Spiritbox - Blessed Be [Live for SiriusXM] | Next Wave Virtual Concert Series
Yes I've been waiting for someone to comment on the garage vibe!
Reminds me of Artful Dodger.. Craig David... 7 Day.. and the Hook of Cherelle's Saturday Love... all put to a blender.... nevertheless.. nails is... 🤟🥳.. catchy
I really love watching your reactions. I love how you breakdown the lyrics and share your thoughts and of course your knowledge about music.
You should react to the explicit version too, it gives a twist to the whole meaning of the lyrics lol, really good both ways though
Nox Is the 🐐
"Swallow your pride!" The phrase is funny, but I didn't pick up on the ad-lib until you mentioned it. Too funny!
IT'S AMAZING... BEST SONGGG
Latto + the explicit version will make more sense. The clean version is for radio and Korea Music board LOL
He's singing about committed love AND sex. Hearing folks try to tie the title to his members makes me giggle.
I love that you recognised the uk garage Craig David influence it’s so iconic it’s the first thing I though I was like woah this is garage 😂❤
Love your analysis and interpretation of the song as always. 😊💜🎶
I love it when you find all the details. 💜
I agree with his comment about Latto. It would've been a better collab if her lyrics went deeper instead of the blunt imagery of sex. Even in the explicit version cause JK still paints a deeper picture.
Also JK's falsettos are top notch 👌🏻
Knox, I love your ability to break down bars, rhyme schemes and flow patterns. Not only that but you can do it on both english and spanish. Residente dropped a song called Bajos y Baterías and I think you would do great breaking it down. Keep it up ❤
Yeah i agree with you about latto. Istg im tired of featured artists that have verses that doesn't connect with the rest of the song at all. She slayed but eh, could've been better.
Edit: after listening to the explicit version, yeah actually nvm she slayed. Def connected with the rest of the song lmao
Nah, Jungkook still has lines that represent a deeper devotion and sense of connection. Sex can be a part of that. Whereas Latto just came across more vapid and shallow level with the lyricism to me. I still don’t think this song is about a fling but a deeper relationship
Listen to the explicit version of sing to get Lattos lyrics
Also latto plays on 777 a lot as it has to do with lottery
i appreciate the song more after hearing your reaction ❤..Love your reactions always!
Love your reactions Knox... awesome breakdown as always❤
thankyou for always supporting our boys:) love from army🥰
If you hear the explicit version, Latto’s verse makes a lot more sense. The change of one word makes A LOT of difference. And yes I ALWAYS SWALLOW!
👀
Besides JK here, your voice and music is so beautiful. Great reaction. Love ya.
You are really good at assessing/analyzing/explaining a video! I have seen it no less than 20 times and seen several other reactors. And you are the first to explain how his voice fits into the UK garage genre. And how the video focuses on the two of them while chaos swirls around. Enjoyed your reaction! And love this song for JK - double entendres and all!!!
Happy that I found ya channel a few months ago!!! Yur AWESOME man
IM SO PROUD OF JUNGKOOK AH
I just love how you explain thing. JKs vocals omg. Thank you for your reaction. Hope you listened to the explicit version 😂
He is a rapper himself lol!! He used to rap in early days
Its so UK Garage 🇬🇧 Craig David '7 Days'! I love it, hey from the UK 🇬🇧👋😊💜
you gotta hear the BTS vocal line version of DDAENG
for metal mondays, could try Constance by Spiritbox. Has a lot of great story telling, and is a very emotional song
You have a great singing voice btw! I really like your songs Survivor and your new one is crazy!
❤❤❤happy 1ml subscribers..
Great reaction Knox and thank you for the amazing Patreon live earlier. Why not put aside a dollar every time someone asks you to listen to the explicit version 😄
I knew it was a Craig David vibe! ahhh miss this kind of beat
I'm really glad they updated the Craig David sound.
Exactlyyyyyyy Craig David vibes
I always love your input. I think when you hear the explicit version, Lattos verse fits better.
Craig David 7 days album is fantastic, still here in 2024 ✋
SEVEN create storms IN THE WORLD NOW i am so so proud of jungkook
I am so happy to hear your intros. They always make me smile! :) You're the best KNOX!!! You are UNICORN certified :P :D
I've mostly watched your BTS reactions, so it might have happened before, but this is the first time I've seen you react to something you didn't like. Your face was great, lol. I completely agree that her verse doesn't really fit. It feels like a completely different song. Is it wrong to hope a version gets released that leaves her part out? (Though the end of the scene with him coming out of the coffin is hilarious.)
Even so I love the song overall. Jungkook's voice is amazing and the beat is contagious.
Always love your reactions. Thanks for another good one.
