There is a tendency for some (not those who have looked at her full range of performances (totalling in hundreds ) to dismiss her as either a Mariah wannabe (she's far from) or a one trick pony with the whistle (she's so much more). As you pointed out, her basic vocal skills are incredible and THAT is her bread and butter.
