Chris was swinging that hammer like he was pissed that someone dissed harbor freight tools. LOL
“Take it to the dealer. We will pray for you”.
I’m dead. 😂
Telling him was the right thing to do. You are a stand up guy and Chris is a good employee. He’d would’ve figured it out by the second yank.
Hello, you are my inspiration, because of you I bought me a k100 and started a youtube channel.

Yea, you only have one truck that runs, you have plans and goals and with Chris at the shop it will all come together.
Orwell's looking good, I noticed those wheels shine in the sun light when it came out of the shop.
I use a dull flat bit on an air chisel to get those cone washers off of old Toyota hilux trucks. Lay the blade flat on the hub. Just touch the outside diameter of the cone washer, ease on the trigger, angle the chisel out, and they vibrate right out of the hole.
"Take it to the dealer and we'll pray for you", LOL!!! Yeah, cars and trucks at the stealership for work is $$$$$.
You don't want to crawl under a truck that's being held by Harbor Freight jack stands, made of genuine, first rate, high grade Chinesium? Where is your sense of adventure? 😁
Better be nice to Chris, he is a huge asset to your shop.
Good evening Steve, Chris, & Jen
I love the shop time aswell as the road time it breaks it up half & half
Steve, I don't know if you watch a channel called Classic Large Car Garage or not, but I was watching it the other day, and they were in a truck honey hole, and what was sitting there, a 1987 Peterbilt 362 big bunk almost identical to Orwell, same colour blue, but no silver striping, just thought you might like to know, if nothing else, it might be a semi decent parts truck for Orwell. Keep up the fantastic work my friend, your channel is required watching in my house, I always wait until midnight to catch it when you first release it. Great job on the 359. 🇬🇧
Nice to see all the progress you two are making. I think this is going to be a very good year for you.
855 with a Holset straight pipe sounds so good
And he back!!!
There is the Steve I remember from the beginning.
So nice to see you are back buddy!
Things are going well at the shop.
Make sure to set up the business end for the shop so you don’t lose everything should you gently sued. Form an I Inc or a numbered company.
You got to look out for yourself first priority.
All the best for 2025!
My opinion; harbor freight has stepped it up past couple years. I go there & Northern & I swear a lot of the stuff looks all the same w/ different price tags
Good evening Steve
Yeah we know you enjoyed every minute of it being in the sun shine state where it's sunny and 75😅
The roar of your truck is like music to my ears, especially when I hear it from the outside view camera!!
You know Northern tool gets there products from the same place harbor freight does
Just changing out light bulbs and fixtures is a full time job on local trucks n trailers .
Hey Steve, I just want to let you know how much I enjoy your channel. Thanks
Yes u should have told him Mr.Chris is an great guy he knows his stuff Mr Steve u is the best trainer on u tube I enjoy looking at your videos keep them coming and how is your family doing may God bless u and Chrise be safe take care and keep them video rolling
Sure is great seeing the shop bringing in some paying jobs.Take care, you and Chris be safe.🤩👍👍
Hey Steve and Chris how you guys doing, stay warm over there
Steve, i used to live in the Detroit area i'm looking forward to the videos of trucking through Detroit. Moved from Michigan to Florida 5 years ago now.
Great video Steve and Chris there's never a dull moment at the shop. Watching Chris and you work on your trucks or customers truck it's all enjoyable. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Steve and Chris.
Chris, Mack Tools sells pliers to remove the cones
I thank you should be nice to all of ur friends and family
Chris , I was a forklift road mechanic for 50 + years , had done brake jobs and axel leaks a lot of machines had those split cones on the axel, studs , where as a special pliers with a wedge to open and pull those cones off. Some were rusted so bad it was a nightmare, always ordered new ones with axel gaskets at times !
Thanks for the pictures of Fort Lauderdale and Lake Okeechobee!!!
Steve i am enjoying the shop content
Whenever I change an air compressor on 855/ntc series Cummins engine, I always install a 2 cylinder compressor. The single cylinder compressors are too noisy and they do not put out as much air as a 2 cylinder compressor. Most people are unaware that the single cylinder compressor is supposed to be timed with the engine. The 2 cylinder compressor does not require being timed.
Glad to see u back at the shop my brother
For what its worth - Harbor Freight does sell some American made tools nowadays... Granted most of their inventory is still made of Chineseium.
View from the snow plough cab. Video gold
Stay lucky Steve.
That has the movie Maximum Overdrive written all over it
Hey how are you doing today and how is chirs doing I watching your RUclips videos and they are very educated and I like the content
When are you going to get educated ?
Well Steve, if you play a prank on Chris, just remember that he'll probably get you back.
That's cool in all your videos I don't think I've ever seen a Wiedmeyer in the wild.
It's fun watching your channel I grew up around trucks and cars don't change a thing love the content
Great video good luck with your expansion steve
Great showing your customer what use do warts an all.
Nice mix in today's video. The work on the wheel studs was interesting. And the drive to pick up the new load rounded out things. Keep on truckin' 👍
Should have let him yank on that wheel, although, he seems knowledgeable and probably would have figured it out quickly what was wrong.
I just bought a new shop vac from harbor freight. Seems decent quality.
Get that cash as much as you can
The St. Lucie Canal comes out of Lake Okeechobee and goes through Martin County, FL... I think it does exit out around Stuart/Ft. Pierce. Many moons ago, I used to live in Indiantown, which is just east of Lake Okeechobee. Went fishing with my grandfather and father many times on the lake, the "rim ditch" and St. Lucie Canal.
Great shop video
😊
Nice pete
Hey Steve
Well Steve it would have been funny if you didn’t say anything about it but it’s good that you told Chris 😀
Awesome pics, Steve
It is way easier to get the axles to pop off the hubs with the weight of the truck on its wheels.
The axle is floating! It doesn't carry any weight.
@@FSC-Chris I understand that, I work on trucks everyday. I was pulling axles to do wheel seals years back and they were a real fight, old time at walked by and said put the truck back on its tires then hit it. Two hits and it popped, I figured it was just luck and I had loosed it up with all the hitting I was doing before. But i can tell you ever since if I'm pulling an axle I do it while the truck is on its tires and I've had one give me a problem since. Not sure why it works, I told the old guy that day the same thing you told me, but trust me it helps a lot. Try it next time, they also make a special pair of pliers to remove the tapered cones, it spreads them to make them come off easier if they are the style with the slit.
@@gregolson1824 I'll have to try that next time. I like finding new ways to solve old problems. Thanks
@@FSC-Chris lol
i can smell that big cam running from here 😉😉nice rigs
Awesome channel sir. Thank you!
Very cool..& you have a good mechanic....
sorry I forgot your name but you are doing a great job in the shop but please take care of you knees they don't last for ever
sir steve , nice work, say we should get our mechanic a heavey thick kneeling pad and maybe a good back brace, i use a weight lifting belt myself when doing heavey work , stay safe men !!
nice old pete
I've seen all your videos.
He's nice to you so far Steve ,why ruin a good thing
Steve if you ever get near a Checkers/ Rallies get some of their fries let's put it this way you will be throwing rocks at all of the other places that has Fries because they are a lot better
At first glance, until you start looking at the details, it looks like Matt's (Callthemall) truck.
Nice
Wuz up my brother good to see you back from your mini vacation
Orwell is alive!!!!!!!!!!
I cant wait until u start putting the frame together but I know u still need to get parts for it & that takes money
I have to agree with you Steve. I don't like harbor freight. Certain things you just can't be cheap on. Especially when it comes to your life.
Hellow guys good luck
Yup, smokin like a big cam with a big button in the pump
I hear you brother but those stands and harber freight are the same and their fine.
My 88 T 600 had those what a pain
Tree FIddy Niner, ain't nuttin finer! 👏🏽 👍🏼☺
These guys are so called old trucks experts !!! LOL🥸
Never heard either of them say their experts at anything. The voices in your head can be medicated Veijo.
@@Flaming-Hedgehog They sound like them !!!🤔
@@sellier-bellot22 in your head
Looking good 👍
Good old mechanical Cummins
May you dodge the nutter in charge and succeed. You work hard and make great vids. Plus you have a diamond in chris.
Very cool
Need a mechanics seat or stool for Chris to sit on while working on those brakes. Save the back-bending down/etc.
We gone have to start calling you Big Money Steve😁
Great illustration Steven excellent shop work
Exactly.
Always better to be nice Steve otherwise he will get you back later
Cool❤.
🍭SWEET🍭Don’t be trying to fool the “MASTER” Steve! LOL😉Stay safe, warm & be blessed 🙏🏼💖👍🏻🇺🇸🌞
Tiger tool makes a tool to remove those axles. It's 300 bucks but we'll worth it. 4 swings and all the washers were loose. And otc makes a pair of Pliers that opens the washers. Can get a Chinese knock off for slightly less
Secret steve. Wd 40 and heat until almost cherry red. It works all the time bud.!!!
I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but it does kind of seem like HarborFreight has been stepping up their game in the last five years or so I know their stuff isn’t for everybody, but if you haven’t been there in a long time, I would recommend giving them a second look they are no longer the land of China tools that are the cheapest made They actually carry a lot of stuff that’s made in Taiwan that is very good and I think they’re even bordering on carrying some US stuff if I had a northern tool close to me, I would probably shop there a lot more. The closest one to me is over three hours away.
I think the only thing they stepped up is the price,, shoot they want about as much as you pay for Mac or snap on!
@ maybe if you’re talking about the icon toolboxes which personally I would avoid and just by the US generals unless it’s something you plan on using every day and in case you haven’t noticed everybody has went up in price that’s just kind of the way things are nowadays
I've got the same jackstands a d never had an issue.
Uh, I hope you can vent out the exhaust and get some fresh air in there. Hate to lose you guys
I watch you videos every day that you put one out , I am addicted to it dang it. I am a retired truck driver and you keep me going in my every day life I thank you so
I don't know Steve when the camera is on he is one hell of a worker, always busy, don't know about when there is no camera, but I feel like he probably works harder because he can smoke while he works, when you are around he has to go outside to smoke, cant work outside...
I saw you today on 270 in Columbus.
I used to live in Ft. Lauderdale now I live near Raleigh NC you went to both my places
Give harbor freight a try truly the tools have gotten better, the icon line is not bad and actually I bought the T10 scan tool and it’s great. But I understand everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Um, hard no.
SEMPER FIDELIS, Steve!!
Yeah, you did right, Steve! Lol!!!
Just for my info do you have to give the parts back to whoever's truck your working on that you replaced parts on ? I live in Michigan and its the law here. I must have missed the video after you fixed the front end of Orwell, it must be so much better now!! Great Job!!!
Paint the tanks for the freightliner while they are off
Harbor freight daytona brand are awesome floor jacks and jack stands
Your life. With construction on slave wages.
It's all the same shit with different names.. Harbor freight, northern tool they need jus put a big sticker on the side says "China got you covered" No Worry 😂😂 lmao
Ever thought Abt getting an old Brockway to shove that 12v71 in?
A 12 v 71 should be in a 359 or 900a extended hood orrrrr a cabover show trk b model cats rule
@danielday5357 he already said he wants to do a unique truck and be different
@@jnic2003Cabover Kevin and 8V92 Shennannigans drives vintage trucks with two stroke screamin' Detroits in them and they still earn good money.
