I apologize for a few mistakes. First, I thought maybe, you could double down after hitting in older versions of blackjack from the 1800s. I've found no evidence of this upon research, only in variations such as Spanish 21. So no, you cannot double down after hitting. Second, I made a couple mistakes in my payouts. Regardless, I hope you enjoy. ;)
Ahhhh, the good ole "can we get a room for our guest?" bit! The way they make their money back, may it shock you how that works. If you stay and play and buy more stuff, if they can make back even a FRACTION of what they've lost from your massive winning streak, the house wins again. Even if you take that room, buy as little as possible, stop playing, enjoy the room then leave. The house can afford the loss much as they hate it. ;o)
thanks Jeremiah ! this is exactly what i was looking for on this rainy windy night in Fl, having me a lazy day and wanted to find something to relax to and as per usual you've delivered thank you kind sir !
Someone replied to another comment saying that if they recall correctly, Jeremiah said somewhere that it's not stacked, they just shuffle the deck and play as it is
This is not a critique of this video, but black and white might also work quite well for a western blackjack roleplay. I still love the filter you did use though. Lends it a Spagetti Western aesthetic to me. Great pick! ♥
ok, maybe someone can help me here? at 15:15 "we" decide to double down and bet 200 + 200, but we only get the same 400 in summary back that we just bet? why would anyone go for that, it doesn't make sense to me or am i missing/misunderstanding something here? i would love to know... ^^'
So the player should've gotten the 400 chips he bet plus a 500 chip, then the player would've give him a 100 chip in return. This would've squared away the player and the house. Obviously, this didn't happen in the role-play. There are two ways of seeing it. Either he simply made a mistake while role playing, or dude scammed the imaginary player because he was doing too good. You're not the only one who noticed this. In real life, don't let the dealer touch your chips so liberally.

This video is so relaxing to listen to that I could care less about the accuracy
You're fine just that double down bet u made I seen it and couldn't unsee it even tho it's just for fun lol great big tho!
that red dead 2 blackjack vibe lol
Enjoyed it a lot nonetheless!
Your fine dude I'm just relaxing
15:40 Damn getting scammed for 400$ just like that😂
"You won $400! But how about instead, I just give you change for $500 you already have?"
Yes!! I knew I couldn’t be the only one that caught that! 😂 that cowboy pulled a switcheroo!
Damn I was looking for these comments, he got us good 😂😂
I was so pissed!!
BRO I DIDNT EVEN NOTICE THAT SLY MF
A nice, relaxing blackjack video on this windy, rainy day. The bit of blackjack history and short tutorial at the beginning was a nice touch.
Oh I remember those good old days 1883. I was a young lad back then 19. Can’t believe I’m still living thanks for the throwback 😉
I remember fighting in the war like it was yesterday
@JoshualibbyTrucker ... so you are "quite old" NOW (you were 19 in 1883?) 🤣🤣🤣
@@COLDMKULTRA yes. I’m quite old now I think I died back in 1980 but I’m still typing this in heaven
@@Joshualibbyy 👍👍
the way you deal cards has got to be the best thing ever, with the part when you let the card flick off of your finger before setting it down

That streak was unreal, please tell me that was pure chance
I think he said somewhere that he doesn't stage the decks, he just shuffles them and plays as is, so iirc yes this is chance
16:01 ay those $100 chips were supposed to go to me mate just ripped me off 💀
half-sleep thoughts: those blackjack videos are complete improvisation from Jeremiah and he still nailed them!
the vintage design cards and chips are a great touch :)
This is really wonderful. This should have like a billion views man. May the algorithm gods smile favorably upon you in the future!
I’ve been sick the last few days and your videos have been very comforting and relaxing. Thank you!
The combination of the cowboy accent and the clay chip sounds are super relaxing. I'd say we made the most money in quite a while.
Your voice is so calming and now i understand blackjack lol.
Am I the only one thinking that the dates are going back to the past??

THE TRUE ORIGIN OF BLACKJACK
my favorite part of blackjack are the chip tricks
thanks Jeremiah ! this is exactly what i was looking for on this rainy windy night in Fl, having me a lazy day and wanted to find something to relax to and as per usual you've delivered thank you kind sir !
Man, I discovered your channel today, and now you upload this gem!
Very relaxing indeed, keep it up!
Seeing that it’s a Cowboy Blackjack video I’m already roped into it! Can’t wait to watch it! 🤠 🃏
Love the nod to Wyatt Earp and the Black Jack origin!! 🎉now let’s play.
Now this is REAL man asmr
Feels good to be in rhodes once again.
This east coast gal is a big fan of the western blackjack setting and dealer. 🤠🃏🤘🏻 🥃Always fun when we head back in time.
Nice! Blackjack video!! Thanks a lot my friend...
Finally I understand how to play black jack 🔥👑
Thank you for your relaxing videos! Wishing you a great day!
*Bro showed us what the Wildest West in Sweet Home Alabama looked like in 1883 ☠️☠️☠️*
Just a lil reminder that $100 is ~$3100 in todays money so getting scammed out of $400 is mad crazy
Wonderful time before i go to bed, thank you😊
Loved this mate great stuff!! 👍 ♠️♥️♦️♣️
Love how buy in was 1000€ which could've probably bought the hotel itself at the time
“ Jeremiah Ringo…” - Doc Holiday(probably)
16:00 You took $400 from our win nonono
I really hope we are just winning like this and he isn’t stacking the deck. Makes it funnier if his reaction is live.
Someone replied to another comment saying that if they recall correctly, Jeremiah said somewhere that it's not stacked, they just shuffle the deck and play as it is
also absolutely insane odds in the first half or so
Am I crazy or did this man swindle me out of $600 with some quick change shenanigans at 15:43
Not 600$ but 400$. He took the 400$ bet and an extra 100$ and gave us 500$ in return, he never gave us the 400$ we won.
That’s right, see it even confused me how much he scammed us out of!
Great Video👌

He made a mistake you should have made 400
So the player should've gotten the 400 chips he bet plus a 500 chip, then the player would've give him a 100 chip in return. This would've squared away the player and the house. Yes, he seems to have accidentally taken the 400$ bet alongside the 100$ we gave him for the 500$ chip.
oh ok, thanks yall... :D
bro imagine a video like "blackjack but u r on a streak or u always win or ur a pro whatever" like he just cheats for u lol that'd be fun lmao
This guy needs more attention
Does anyone know what chips those are they look sick!
"I aint changed. Im still a batman"

Man I wish my dealer in Costa Rica was this loose
doubling down 200$ and getting 500 instead of 800$? that's kinda weird
but fr the ASMR is soooooo good
These poker videos are amazing please keep on making them.
Yessssss! Owo
it was after this day casinos started to cheat and the house never lost again 🙏🙏
2:15 shouldn't it be 3 to 2?
When you have 9 Luck in Fallout New Vegas:
Noticed you dealt us in for $1020 Lol Thanks
Pls more joker black jack
When he bet 200$ and then doubled shouldn't he of won 800$ and not just his bet back lol?14:50 time stamp
Yeah, he should've just taken the extra 100$ chip and return the 500$ for a total of 400$ earn, instead he took the 400$ bet alongside the 100$.
🧔🧔🧔🤠🤠🤠🃏🃏🃏🏨🏨🏨
yeehaw
Just if anyone wants to know 1k from 1883 is 31,355.68 in today money
2:13 Shouldn't that be 3:2, not 2:1?
Yeah exactly lol. 2:1 would be double the bet
I think he scammed us on the trade in of the double down giving us the 500 chip and not an extra 400 for winning the hand.
Hello, Mr. Lucky Luke
you should do a fallout new Vegas blackjack asmr
you owe me 500 bucks @16:00
Would you do a spike special teaches you black jack cowboy bebop video?
Are you american or german?
I'm from Ohio my friend. ;)
my edging streak finally ended 😭
Ohno, not the ORIENTAL!!! wtf? that don't soothe me! I love your stuff otherwise
What are you on about? Its a reference to the famous real life saloon in Deadwood. Wyatt Earp was even a dealer there
The Oriental was the actual hotel that Wyatt Earp had a steak in at Tombstone.
What is that shit with double down after 3 cards? Dude don't call this Blackjack then
