Excellent info. I just love that your prices for homes include all fees and taxes. It sure takes a load off of a person. Thanks Dave for another awesome video.

The videos really are worth their wait in gold.
We found a property and thought the price advertised was the price....until we spoke to Dave and realised the taxes were s further €12.000 ...so be aware...without Dave we would have just gone ahead.

Goodness !! we pay so much more property taxes in Australia (land tax, rates, water connection is about 100p/m before we use any of it) and we're not even a rich G7 country like Italy is!!!

The good news is I could translate the quote as said by Tony (for the most part) but the movie itself evades me again.
    See you next month!

The "Mach 2" should have given it away, it did for me...., that's 2x speed of sound which only fighter jets can reach!

Also, unlike the UK, if you buy a property and decide to knock 2 rooms into one for example, you need to apply to the council for a permit, and your taxes will increase, same applies if you want to enlarge or even put in a window.

You should also be aware that even if it's your first and only house in Italy, if your residency is abroad or if you have a property in another country, it will be classed as a second home. I work abroad & company pays my acomm. I do not own or rent a house. Despite this, my late parent's home in Italy is classed as my second home. Italy is full of these "lovely" little surprises. Buyer beware!

Speaking with my brother, and also looking at my parent's gas bills, it ain't cheap!
