On the subject of Ripto being alive in Spyro 4, it was actually teased in Spyro 3's secret epilogue that you get after beating the game 100% with all the skill points. There's a page near the end that says Ripto and Gnasty Gnorc were gonna team up to deal with their "Spyro problem", referring to the original plot of Enter the Dragonfly. Unfortunately Gnasty Gnorc was just one of many things that ended up getting cut from that game.
I started out on A Hero's Tail, and mistakenly thought that Enter The Dragonfly was the next in the series. Upon realizing myself, I thought "It won't matter! It's Spyro!" Dear god had I been wrong.
When I was a kid I enjoyed Enter the Dragonfly, but I'd probably really hate it as an adult. But at least they got the voice actors and Stewart Copeland to do the music again, the level designs looked cool.
"Spyro A Hero's Tail", albeit very much on the dorky side of things as far as the dialogue goes, is a lot of fun to play. You are given a bunch of new abilities that you learn as the game progresses. And now, moneybags has a store, you have no specific amount of gems to collect in order to complete the game. They serve as money to use at moneybags' shop. And the bosses, albeit simple to fight (repetitive moves with slight changes each round of 3 hits each) and THE boss is a boss of the obvious, are fun to fight. They even bring back Gnasty Gnorc. It is VERY FUN to play as Hunter.
I am not glad but I have to agree :/ It was a great game and it makes me feel sick when I just think about the other games for PS2 :/ I would be much happier if they would have continued with this style didnt bring shit to Spyro
Yeah, I really liked Enter the Dragonfly. Maybe I was too young to realize it's flaws, but the level format was one of the stand out factors for me. I couldn't really get on board with anything beyond enter the dragonfly. After that, It just didn't feel like the game I grew up loving anymore.
I was looking forward to your review of Enter the Dragonfly because that was my first ever Spyro game and held ALOT of memories for me. But when you called it the worst game ever, I was crushed to the point that I cried.
Don't feel bad. You're allowed to like the game. it's perfectly understandable especially considering it was your first ever Spyro game. For me, it was my second Spyro game. The sad fact is that unfortunately rushing the game was the wrong decision because it led to many glitches, poor framerate and a lot of content missing. This is mainly why it got a lot of negative reception. Despite Enter The Dragonfly being rushed, I still prefer that game so much more than A Hero's Tail which I really hated. I genuinely think it was the only new Spyro game that came close to playing similarly to the original 3. It's the main reason why I got some enjoyment out of it.
Thanks for understanding :) I don't believe I had any glitches like that in mine, The only thing that used to frustrate me was how sometimes I would make a glide, but still miss it and fall. ...And the loading times...
AlleycatIrony I feel the same way. I only encountered minor problems as a young kid but despite that, I still enjoyed it. I never got around to finishing it but I managed to play a great amount of it and I liked it. I have some fond memories of it mainly due to the lovely soundtrack. My favourite level/world was probably Luau Island and the music is pretty fun. :D
I like Spyro 4 for what is there, but its shame as it could've been so much more more, but the Spyro 1-5 (console releases) will always have a special place in my heart, there was no reason for them to be changed
I'm glad I watched this. this video reminded me of my love-hate relationship with A Hero's Tail. but as I was watching the gameplay......I remembered *HOW MUCH I LOVED THE LEVEL DESIGNS!* Even at that age that I usually DIDN'T appreciate the quality of such a thing and just called myself "playing a video game", I REMEMBERED IT BEING SOOOO BEAUTIFUL! Also, the new way he glides was a wonderful breath of fresh air. Now I can't wait until I get to play again!
I love how EVERYONE complains that Ripto is alive after being burned to death, I find this absolutely stupid. 1. Its a fucking video game 2. Bowser gets burned in lava INEVERYFUCKINGGAMEHESIN, I don't see anyone complaining unless its Ripto!
Unlike the Mario series, Spyro pays a bit more attention to its continuity as a series. The sequels to this game typically follow the events of the previous games, so that is why seeing Ripto alive after clearly burning to death is strange.
Jordan Bickelmann It doesn't matter, spyro is a VIDEO GAME. Lets take crash bandicoot for example, may not be as story driven as spyro but not like mario either. In the Crash 1, cortex falls off a fucking blimp and falls straight first to the ground, and the epilouge says he was no where to be seen after crash "foiled his plans". in the 2nd game we see he survived. Logic? screw THAT! it's a video game, also, Ripto is badass a little pool of fire isn't going to stop him!
By that logic, continuity in books, television shows, and other media besides video games also doesn't matter. Being a video game doesn't mean logic is completely thrown out the window, necessarily. I was simply explaining why the fan base might find it odd, and I'm not asking you to take it seriously. The example of the Crash ending also isn't that strong of a comparison. By stating that "he was no where to be seen" it leaves it open for debate as to whether Cortex survived or not, and even segues well into the sequel, where we find out he was definitely still alive. Ripto's defeat in Spyro 2 didn't leave... Any indication that he could have survived his fate. You visibly see him sink and disintegrate into boiling lava at the end, and the game doesn't leave that scene to question as Crash did. That's why seeing Ripto revived out of the blue struck the fanbase as being odd. Also, you can discuss this in a much more civil manner than you currently are. There is no reason to get worked up over this.
Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly was actually one of the first games I owned for the GameCube. I never really enjoyed it too much, but I NEVER knew that it was the Sonic '06 of Spyro!
"Hero's Tail" was where I drew the line. It was so far removed from the originals that I had to leave Spyro Behind forever. I even think "Enter The Dragonfly" was better. It at least stuck to the original formula to spite its flaws.
It was awesome that you did a retrospective on that series. P.S. Even when it was revealed after you collected all the Skill Points to see the real epilogue of Spyros 2 & 3, they didn't explain how Ripto lived to be the dragon's new punching bag after Spyro 2and teaming up with Gnasty Gnorc after Spyro 3.
These videos are really good and I can tell you put a lot of time into them. I feel that Enter the Dragonfly was a good game, maybe because it was my first Spyro game ever, but that is my opinion. I can't wait for the next one
as a huge spyro fan who had played the games from the time they came out, I will always love the franchise and the character I enjoyed the legend series though it was different still id kill for a new spyro game or even HD remasters I know lots of people hates skylanders for what they did to spyro but to me its a comfort to know that my old fire breathing buddy is still around, hopefully with the return of crash in the form of HD remasters, they will do the same for spyro reintroducing the franchise to new players and having older fans revisit the classics in glorious HD, and maybe eventually new games will come
I really love your videos. I've gone back and seen them all now, well written and well told! Looking forward to the next episode! Big thank you from Norway! :)
I liked it too, but I played it when I was a kid.. I'm sure it'd be crap if I played it as an adult, but my nostalgia-meter will keep it close to heart
I actually liked Enter the Dragonfly. Sure the loading times where abysmal and the frame rate wasn't great but overall I feel the gameplay was pretty good :(
The story about epilepsy, I looked it up a bit more, and... I don't know. The booklet it comes with warns users to stop playing if they feel the need to. So was this ignored or what? And how exactly does a game with bad frame rate cause permanent damage? I'm sorry but I fail to understand how. I've played games with worse frame rates and it hasn't bothered me, and that's including Enter the Dragonfly, which for me wasn't all that bad, but I do prefer 2 and 3 the most.
i agree with you. SRSLY, how does a "choppy" frame rate give someone a permanent seizure?! I have seen shows that are worse than Enter the Dragonfly and I am all right. I think that kid was exaggerating just to get some money.
totally agree with you! either that kid already had epilepsy and was predispositioned to having something life lasting and that game just made them realize he had it or they didn't take the time to read the warnings, in other words lacking common sense. to me that's no reason or excuse to sue any company.
i had a crazy glitch happen to me back when i was little and played enter the dragonfly. the frame dropped was in perma-slow down and there was no music playing
Skylanders: Money Bags Adventure. That is basically what the game is. A very successful way to make money off the toys. I dare not call it a spyro game. Many people may be upset with me with that comment but note that it is all my opinion. Many more people will be more upset with me when I say that I THINK that the Legend of Spyro series is the best out of all of them. I wish that developers could do another game of Spyro in that fashion but just break the monotony. I would also like to say that I only love the legend of spyro only because I grew up with it. I had many good times playing those games with my friends and many memories of it. I hope that in the future that there will be a SPyro game that would both please MY generation and the OLDER generation of Spyro fans.
Don't rush. All your videos are great and you need your time. But please tell us (this time you did) around when you are going to upload the new video. Love your videos and you have greatly earned all your subs. :)
enter the dragonfly was my favorite game from as a child, it was my first spyro game ever and then i got eternal night.... so that might explain it also...
wow. my reaction to you explaining enter the dragonfly is just...my cousins had this game when we were kids, I played a good deal of it, and I didn't think it was that bad, but realizing what it was planned to be and that it physically damaged a kid, that's just...painful.
that seizure thing sounds off to me, since no other reports have been spoken of. sounds ore like someone failed to read the warnings and take responsibility for their own negligence. Not the companys' fault.
I actually enjoyed this era of GBA games by Digital Eclipse as well as Enter the Dragonfly. This is where I had the most memories of Spyro apart from the original trilogy by Insomaniac Games. I however stopped playing Spyro in 2005 after Shadow Legacy. That game didn't feel like Spyro to me anymore after that. And I'm glad I stopped. The reboot series from what I hear was not that good and Skylanders I think we can all agree is a complete abomination of the Spyro franchise. And now our attention turns to today. Oh my god I can not tell you how fucking hyped I am for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy! From what it looks like, Toys for Bob (Skylanders developer) did a really good job on recreating the original three games.
I honestly have to say I enjoyed Enter the Dragonfly... it might simply be because it was one of the first Spyro games I finished myself, having been too young to play the earlier ones as they were released. That being said, I now realize I've played almost every single Spyro game, except for the one with Crash in it. (As familiar as it seems, for some reason.)
Lovely series you have. Great presentation and everything is well tought-out. One small criticism though: sometimes you cut to different camera-angles(further/closer) which is a tiny-weensy bit distracting.
14:15 WAIT, TARA STRONG??!!! YOU MEAN THE PERSON WHO VOICES TWILIGHT SPARKLE? WHO VOICES AT LEAST ONE CHARACTER IN MOST OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS? GOD DAMNIT! HOLY SHIT
I enjoyed enter the dragonfly quite a bit .... but the only problem is it glitches alot and on my gamecube copy i only have 1 thing left to do witch is win a race but ... when ever i get to 4th place it just wont let me go to the next places .. so i cant finish the game :( .. Do you think if i bought another copy it would not glitch at that bit .. or would i have to live without ever completing it .. and no im not doing it all again
8:20 this quote still sadly true to this very day. I never played 'A Hero's Tale' as I lost faith in the series after Insomniac left and how terrible Enter the Dragonfly was.
I actually disagree with you on one part. I personally much preferred Enter The Dragonfly to A Hero's Tail. While it was a glitchy mess, you can't deny out of all the new Spyro games, Enter The Dragonfly was the only one that played the most closest to the first three Spyro games. It played the most similar to the original Spyro gameplay. (e.g collecting gems, speedway challenges, extra lives and dragonflies). I got enjoyment out of this game mainly because it had the original gameplay formula, it had some of the original characters, the additional breathes, it was the last game to have the original voice actors and it had a memorable music soundtrack. It wasn't all bad. There are good moments in this game but unfortunately, it is let down by a majority of: Glitches; bugs; choppy framerate; horrible loading times (which are even longer than Sonic 06); a very short story; lack of cutscenes; a great amount of emptiness in many levels and very awkward character models and animations. (Spyro, Sparx, Zoe, Bianca and Hunter are fortunately the only good ones in the game). Also, I just want to mention your complaint about Sparx's voice. Just to let you know, that's the same voice from Year Of The Dragon and A Hero's Tail. The only difference is that we hear a greater amount of Sparx's voice in Enter The Dragonfly. It's the same voice actor, Andre Sogliuzzo. So I don't really see the problem here. I don't quite understand your complaint about this? It was all Universal's fault! If they hadn't rushed the developers then I guarantee that Enter The Dragonfly would have been so much more enjoyable! Even Gnasty Gnorc was supposed to be in this game which involved teaming up with Ripto but unfortunately it didn't happen. it's very annoying! I also liked the addition of the Ice and Electric breathes in this game but unfortunately the bubble breath was horribly executed which made chasing after dragonflies very annoying and frustrating. Despite all this, I still have fond memories of this game and back when I was younger, I still managed to get more enjoyment out of this than I ever did with A Hero's Tail and other future Spyro games beyond this because as I mentioned before, it basically had the original Spyro gameplay. I wish they had remade it when they had the chance, I still would like to play this again with a more finished version but unfortunately it won't be happening anytime soon. It's a such a massive shame because I feel they were so close into making a decent Spyro game and it ended up being unfinished. But I still liked the game. I personaly detest A Hero's Tail with a passion! My main problem with this game is that it's incredibly generic and very uninspiring! it's an uninnovative game with incredibly annoying flaws. While it may excel in the graphical department, it fails to deliver beyond that. The whole "Disneyland" look just didn't work for me and I didn't welcome it at all. I hated it! The combat is poor, the bosses are so cliche, very uninteresting story and the gameplay just really falls flat on it's face. The game also has a ridiculous map system and the minigames were very boring for my liking. The camera is also quite inconsistent at times. Everything felt too kiddish for me. There was also no hint of direction of where you had to go in certain levels. The gliding and jumping felt rather strange, the music was forgettable and most of all I really didn't like the new character designs, especially for Spyro and Zoe. I also have another gripe about the way Spyro moves. He pratically prances around like a pony and it actually bothered me a lot more than it should have. I also thought the voice acting was really awful in this game, a massive letdown for me, the dialogue was very embarrasing to me. The only good voices were from The Professor and Sgt Byrd. Jess Harnell was really awful as both Spyro and Hunter. Too gruff and harsh sounding. Very off putting for me! I also don't like the change of Moneybags suddenly sounding russian? For me personally, this is where the cracks of Spyro were starting to appear. Say what you want about ETD but at least that game tried to be a Spyro game. It felt more Spyro to me than anything of the other new games. I know I'm in the minority here but I actually liked Enter The Dragonfly even though I'm aware it turned out to be unfinished and rushed.
I use to play the hell out of A Hero's Tail when I was a kid. It was soooo good and the visuals are beautiful. My favourite realm would probable be the Snow realm. It's like a winter wonderland! =3
I enjoyed A Hero's Tail as well, it doesn't have the charm of the original trilogy but it's a good game and a definite improvement over Enter the Dragonfly.
The first time I played Spyro I wished there was a point where Spyro grew up to become a full fledged dragon. This would give new directions to take the series and retarget the series to the original audience who is now older.
My personal thoughts on Enter The Dragonfly are it was amazing. It was pretty much my first game that wasn't a movie based game. I had played Year Of The Dragon and the two season games before and was thinking Year Of The Dragon was the best of all time. I feel it's only downgrade was the glitches and the fact that Crop Circle Country scared me so much you could easily say I was an Insomniac *badumtss*. Im very excited for part 3 to see what were the reviews on Skylanders and Dawn Of The Dragon are
I liked Enter the Dragonfly. I wouldn't say it was terrible. But there were some things I hated about it. The glitches and the loading times were a pain. The movements and the animation of the characters were bothersome. But I liked it, nonetheless. I love the background scenery. The graphics were stunning. I loved all the worlds in the game. That's just my opinion.
Casey Hudson I totaly agree whit you! I played this game when I was very young, the age could have been around 7 years old. And I remembered the game as a childhood gold piece.
Love your videos, you said "take a 180 degree turn" and showed a picture of skylanders, will you still be covering games such as eternal night with syndra in them?
True, true :( I actually am one of those few kids who actually remembers enjoying Enter the Dragonfly on my game cube. I was such a derp that I just spent FOREVER on the "Hawaiian Island" (as I called it...) But when I DID progress and finished the game...it was short...like WAAAAY too short and the messed up character designs annoy me TO. THIS. DAY.
enter the dragonfly was the shit! love that game, lucky i never experienced any glitch or anything. played it a couple of days ago after 9 years and i still love it
I played (and still own) the original trilogy for the PS. It was great all the way. As far as the GC version, there was another glitch I notice take place. It was lag. Seriously at times through those barren spaces, the fillers (grass or stalks of corn in the farm level) would vanish completely leaving a blank, empty black space. Don't ask me how I managed to stomach on finishing that game. I think it was why I was hesitant on playing a Hero's Tail. I did own Season of Ice. Never played Season of Fire or the Crash/Spyro cross over.
Doesn't really change the fact that he somehow survived being completely submerged in lava.
So basically Enter the dragonfly is like spyros version of sonic 06 XD
In a way, yes
I loved enter the dragonfly. It was a great game on its own.
I started out on A Hero's Tail, and mistakenly thought that Enter The Dragonfly was the next in the series. Upon realizing myself, I thought "It won't matter! It's Spyro!" Dear god had I been wrong.

I cry when I see Spyro in skylanders :( this generation will never know how much of a boss Spyro really was
I feel ya man , i feel ya
same
redman62297 well don’t worry Spyro reignited triology is coming in September
A Hero's tail is the only good spyro game for the ps2
I am not glad but I have to agree :/ It was a great game and it makes me feel sick when I just think about the other games for PS2 :/ I would be much happier if they would have continued with this style didnt bring shit to Spyro
I agree but like all the greats they have to fade *Cough Cough Crash bandicoot
It was my first spyro game on the ps2 so it has alot of memories to me
I really loved enter the dragonfly. But then again, I was like 7 so I didn't really notice the imperfections.
Even when i watch it on youtube , i see NO imperfections at all
I was 7 years old too when I played Enter the Dragonfly
I actually loved enter the dragonfly and have played it longer than any other game I own...

I thought I was the only person that remembers liking that game! Even though now it does seem rather broken but still, the memories...
YourFinest Hippo It wasn't really anything wrong with it except the bugs and glitches. That's what ruined it for me.
Personally I think this game was just decent.
Hey for all you Spyro fans out there, head to eBay and search Spyro Polymer to get some very detailed display figures from the original game.
Thankyou.
But of Course!
For... A small fee?
HoofBumpStudios Pay 6000 gems for half, 9000 gems for 3/4 or 12000 gems for 1.
I was looking forward to your review of Enter the Dragonfly because that was my first ever Spyro game and held ALOT of memories for me.

That was my favourite too XD
I always used to pretend I was a residet dragon living there and my bubble breath was my native element XD

Who else used to have a portable PS1? I would play the original 3 Spyro games IN THE CAR. Best thing ever.
I envy you.
A Hero's Tail was a big improvement.
I'm glad I watched this. this video reminded me of my love-hate relationship with A Hero's Tail. but as I was watching the gameplay......I remembered *HOW MUCH I LOVED THE LEVEL DESIGNS!*

Enter the Dragonfly gave a kid a seizure? Damn. That’s just awful. Never have I heard of a game that actually hurt someone.

Jordan Bickelmann he was also a one time main antagonist in the series that's why it was questioned of his return to a spyro game at the time
***** It kinda does, Crash dies whenever he falls down a hole and Crash can die from heights in Twinsanity.
Excellent retrospective. Truly informative and of extreme quality, totally subscribed
This is a really great video, awesome job! Surprised I haven't heard of you before.
You've gained a subscriber :D
Artisan and magic crafters soundtracks are a fucking MASTERPIECE!!!!
what's the music/sound @ 00:34 ?
Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly was actually one of the first games I owned for the GameCube. I never really enjoyed it too much, but I NEVER knew that it was the Sonic '06 of Spyro!

You did a good job spending time getting the original soundtracks in highest quality.
I lost it at Enter the Dragonfly when I was a child. Never went back to Spyro.
I really love your videos. I've gone back and seen them all now, well written and well told!
Looking forward to the next episode! Big thank you from Norway! :)
I actually liked 'Enter the Dragonfly'
*puts up sheild*
*moves shield aside*
So do I.
Same here. Haven't beaten it yet though.
same, and I beaten it about 8 years ago, lol
***** A bit much there...
I liked it too, but I played it when I was a kid.. I'm sure it'd be crap if I played it as an adult, but my nostalgia-meter will keep it close to heart
At 10:59 what was the font you used for June (2004), gamedirect or anybody?
I actually liked Enter the Dragonfly. Sure the loading times where abysmal and the frame rate wasn't great but overall I feel the gameplay was pretty good :(
I am soooooo totally obcessed with Spyro, and I'm loving your videos about him so far! Can't wait for Part 3 :D Keep up the awesome work :)
Great video :D I really enjoy how you go in depth with the franchise.

I fuckin' watched Electric Soldier Porygon without issues

I've enjoyed ALL spyro games
thank you so much for this VERY detailed video series on the franchise! looking forward to part 3 (if its not out yet)
Damn it! wrong video posted on *This will be posted on part 3*
Skylanders is not a Spyro game, you're right on that. He's only a character.
Jordan Roberts Alex Salcedo I agree with both of you but i still like the gameplay and massive amount of secrets.
wolf huner oh yeah can't forget Noobface
Wot
Don't rush. All your videos are great and you need your time. But please tell us (this time you did) around when you are going to upload the new video. Love your videos and you have greatly earned all your subs. :)
Ripto's rage within the epilogue explains how he survives in a photo by being caught by an elder in the dragon world
enter the dragonfly was my favorite game from as a child, it was my first spyro game ever and then i got eternal night.... so that might explain it also...
0:25 - 0:39
Wow, I don't blame ya! I think Spyro took *too many drugs* during his down time! XD
wow. my reaction to you explaining enter the dragonfly is just...my cousins had this game when we were kids, I played a good deal of it, and I didn't think it was that bad, but realizing what it was planned to be and that it physically damaged a kid, that's just...painful.
that seizure thing sounds off to me, since no other reports have been spoken of. sounds ore like someone failed to read the warnings and take responsibility for their own negligence. Not the companys' fault.
YES!!!!! a new begining and the eturnal night were the first spyro games ive played.
I am absolutely loving your vids, keep up the good work.
I loved all the Spyro games. When Dawn of the Dragon came out, I was heartbroken when I learned that it was the last true Spyro game.
I received Enter the Dragonfly for Christmas. I was so excited too, and it was even my forst Gamecube game. I played it and I didn't recover...
Legend of Spyro was the best in my opinion of the Spyro franchise.
I actually loved Enter the dragonfly
I honestly have to say I enjoyed Enter the Dragonfly... it might simply be because it was one of the first Spyro games I finished myself, having been too young to play the earlier ones as they were released. That being said, I now realize I've played almost every single Spyro game, except for the one with Crash in it. (As familiar as it seems, for some reason.)
I thought a hero's tail was pretty good. It wasn't the best but after that travesty of enter the dragonfly, I thought it was a breath of fresh air.
I've been watching this and history of crash and it makes me wish I could play the first games again (the first trilogies)
Also, Ripto survived, and it's within the Insomniac Spyro canon. Him and Gnasty both did. It's in the epilogue of Spyro 3.
GOD DAMNIT! HOLY SHIT
The only thing I can think of when ever I see game cube is all of the start up screen memes
Enter the dragonfly was the first Spyro game I played... I'm glad I gave Spyro another chance
I wish that there is more spyro games. I rememberd having spyro year of the dragon, spyro 2, and some legend of spyro a new beginning
A Hero's Tail was my favorite game for like 2 years straight
I needed this. I thought Insomiac messes Spyro up with Skylanders. Now I now the real culprits.
AHT? Easy? Nuh-uh! I died so many times in that game. I'm glad they took the life system out of it, cause if not, SO MANY GAMEOVERS would've been had!
Very awesome reviews ^^
I hope ya will soon do a Parappa The Rapper review, I would love to see your personal opinions and history facts about it :D

that's the first time i saw that derpy face with appropriate music
I find it funny how Stewart Copeland's score was used throughout this retrospective, and yet not even once was he credited.
Enter the dragonfly was my first game, I prefered it way more than my other gamecube games. I know alot of people don't like it, But I LOVED it.
I love enter the dragonfly!! it's my only spyro game i'll admit but I still have a lot of fun in it
I use to play the hell out of A Hero's Tail when I was a kid. It was soooo good and the visuals are beautiful. My favourite realm would probable be the Snow realm. It's like a winter wonderland! =3
Oh wow, I had no idea this period of time existed for Spyro. I though he disappeared for five years.
that fucking duck at 5:54 killed me LMAO
I enjoyed A Hero's Tail as well, it doesn't have the charm of the original trilogy but it's a good game and a definite improvement over Enter the Dragonfly.
It's so cool you make these
I didn't have much problems with the Mole parts. You just gotta play a bit more campy. And yea, I'm including Shadow Legacy for the next part.
IV`E BEEN WACHING THE SAME 2 VIDS FOR DAYS !
What a fitting thumbnail
Everyone says Hero's Tailmis easy but I find it harder than the original trilogy, by a long shot.
The first time I played Spyro I wished there was a point where Spyro grew up to become a full fledged dragon. This would give new directions to take the series and retarget the series to the original audience who is now older.
I really liked Attack of the Rhynocs when I was younger, but I lost the game cartridge...
Thanks for reminding me of my time playing though :D
My personal thoughts on Enter The Dragonfly are it was amazing. It was pretty much my first game that wasn't a movie based game. I had played Year Of The Dragon and the two season games before and was thinking Year Of The Dragon was the best of all time. I feel it's only downgrade was the glitches and the fact that Crop Circle Country scared me so much you could easily say I was an Insomniac *badumtss*. Im very excited for part 3 to see what were the reviews on Skylanders and Dawn Of The Dragon are
Aww...Enter the Dragonfly was my first Spyro game :/ I really liked it, but then again, I got it for Christmas as a younger kid.
THIS. DAY.
enter the dragonfly was the shit! love that game, lucky i never experienced any glitch or anything. played it a couple of days ago after 9 years and i still love it
5:17
Oh Agent 9, I will always remember your craziness, especially in Year of the dragon.
...... WHAI UNIVERSAL!!!!!!!!!!!
Enter the Dragonfly. My first real Spyro game - in fact, I still own it.
As a kid a hero's tail actually had some really hard and kinda scary levels
I love Spyro!! But me and my twin sis enjoyed the first 3 and then the new series The Legend of Spyro a lot more.
Enter the dragonfly was my first Spyro game!
They need to bring Spyro back! Skylanders just killed it completely.
Ah Tom Kenny, you make Spyro a badass!
He's definitely hands down the BEST Spyro of all time!
r.i.p Insomiac spyro , atleast i just downloaded the spyro trilogy on ps3 , relive the magic like i am a kid again
The legend of spyro game series appealed to the heart
Regarding Season of Flame, they were actually fireflies, not dragonflies. Minor difference, but still. Makes sense considering the temperature thing.
