I have caught a ton of Whitefish on the Weber over the years. A lot of people hat them and I used to get mad when I caught them. But they fight hard and are still fun to catch. I knew the first Cuttie you caught was not a Whitefish when it came out of the water. I have never had a Whitefish jump out of the water. They always hunker down below surface. Fun video! I have completed the slam twice now. It is a really fun thing the state does.
Thanks! Just subbed and looked through more of your content. Great stuff! I am from Brigham City and saw a lot of stuff we used to fish. Moved to Cedar City last year for clean air. Where do you live?
A net always helps. It's good to keep them fish in the water as much as you can. I agree with the rubber nets. I've lost too many fish without a net, so I carry one all the time now.
Great job and very entertaining! About how far into Utah would you recommend going? I am heading down there tomorrow from Cody Wyoming to start my Cutt-Slam. Thanks 😊

I think there fun to catch as well! Congrats on 2 slams. I’m going to do it again with my son.
It’s always fun to fish with family! I looked on a map and couldn’t find the Black’s Fork River in Utah. Can you give me a hint on the area?
Just south of Meeks cabin reservoir in Wyoming.

I live in West Bountiful. I wish the air was cleaner haha.
Those should all be Colorado cutts. Bear river cutts are west of Elizabeth pass and Bonneville cutts are south of Bald mountain pass.

I see it helping! I just need one with smaller holes!
good work keep it up
Thanks Dax!

Thanks again! Those white fish lookedlike a blast,
Probably the biggest fish in that river haha.
When you going to the flaming gorge again to Kokanee fish
Not sure yet. My buddy hasn’t even got his Koke boat ready yet.
Is the East fork Blacks river in Utah or Wyoming? Thanks.

Awesome catch Joe. You might convert me to fly fishing, man.
Haha I’m not going to lie I’m hooked on fly fishing right now.
