I smelled a small sample of Gentle Fluidity Gold and you hit the nail on the head. It smells exactly like Montale Intense Cafe. No thank you for me, but I’m sure other will think it’s great. Silver Edition is better
I totally agree, Athalia is very overlooked from Parfums de Marly and I absolutely love it! And Valaya is really up there for me. Top two of that perfume house for sure.
Musk therapy used to be my signature last year but this year my signature is lust in paradise by ex nihilo as I live in a tropical country and I simply love fresh and lasting fragrances!
My signature scent is Initio Musk Therapy. Since the first sniff - I don`t like anything else! Absolutely works beautifully with my natural skin scent, got stopped many times and asked what I am wearing in the summer. Expensive but I use it summer/winter/day/evening - this is absolutely stunning! I don`t like sweet, florals, gourmand, oud perfumes - this is just like nothing I ever smelled before.

My signature scent was Eau Du Soir exclusively to the point that I stopped smelling it. Then I tried to find some other scent, but I just couldn’t. So I used all kinds of stuff but I didn’t really LOVE anything. Well, I have 3 now. I like Bal D’Afrique but it has no longevity at all. I LOVE Musk Therapy, Pas Se Soir. My main one, however is Bottega Veneta EDP original. I think it’s more of a more mature scent for a woman over 30, definitely not for very young women, but I have never gotten so many compliments from people I don’t even know when I wear it and asking what I am wearing. I think of it as an old money elegance.
I guess musk is my favorite category, and Kiehls original musk is my signature scent all year round 🐙🌺light enough for summer, heavy enough for winter. For special occasions I like a creamy white floral or maybe a dark vanilla, but mostly, I love those musks!
Kedu by Memo Paris is one of my signature scents. There's something so fresh, yet unusual about it. I get compliments on it all the time. YSL Supreme Bouquet is new to my collection and it's incredible. I can't even describe it exactly (yet). It's a soft, pillowy floral that is blended so we'll you can't tell what flowers are in it. Gentle FG is another but Im not reaching out for it as much as I used to
For me signatures have to be not too summery, not too wintry, not too daytime and not too evening-y and have to feel like ‘you’. From my collection the closest to a signature I have are Rosendo Mateu - 5, musk therapy and velvet haze by Byredo. I’m in my musk era for sure

Not a rose note fan BUT the Narciso Rodrigues Musc Noir is beautiful.! Such a nice daily fragrance! I just got it today. I was originally looking at the original Musc Noir but I smelled this and got the one with Rose instead.

For awhile I wore that daily…everyone talks about FG but I love fluidity silver which doesn’t get as much love and I don’t know why.

If i have to name my signature scent, i would say BDK - Rouge Smoking. Since the first time i smelled it, i was hooked, crazy about it. It feels like me. Fun, kinda mysterious, it can be worn to a party, but still rather on the elegant side. It has my favourite tonka bean and cherry. I’m obsessed.

So…Dama Bianca, this was a sample sent on “free niche sample day” from one of the discounters. Like all of us (probably), I sprayed a small amount of the sample in my hand, smelled it and thought “meh, it’s ok”. Probably 6 hours later I went to bed and caught a whiff of it, and thought “oh my god, what is that smell”. I honestly had to go through my samples to find it again. More than a year later, I thought I was actually buying it, but bought 1888 instead. Finally, another year later I found it and bought it…and then realized it was a woman’s fragrance. - I’d been calling it “liquid crack” for almost two years, so I spray it on my hands from time to time while I’m at home, and MAN is it great. But now I have this mental block about wearing a lady’s fragrance to work etc. Oh well, I’m still happy that I have it, and I can see why it might be a signature scent (just not for me).
What do you think of eau de magnolia or iris poudre under Frederick Malle as signatures? I like in a climate with 4 seasons. I was thinking iris poudre year round and eau de magnolia for spring/summer due to the fresh citrus notes.
I have a question for y'all. When I first smelled Hibiscus Mahajad, I was in love with it, bc of that powdery note. Then I tried Delina Exclusif, which reminded me of HM, because of that same note. In doing research for Exclusif, people mentioned how Kenzo Flower and Exclusif had similarities, and that's when it all came full circle, because I loved Kenzo Flower in my 20s. I had just forgotten all about it. So now that Demi says Dama Bianca is also similar to Kenzo Flower, where does it fall compared to Delina Exclusif and Hibiscus Mahajad? Would it be worth for me to add it to my collection when I already have the 2 previously mentioned fragrances?

Some notes in musc noir rose really reminds me of la belle from JPG, came to find out Sonia Constant was also part of the making of this one too

Gris Dior is one of my signature scents for the last 3 years, i love it, and i am a man! A unisex fragrance in my opinion.

The most exotic note in GF gold disappears immediately & it turns into a generic candle smell very quickly.

What do you think of eau de magnolia or iris poudre under Frederick Malle as signatures? I like in a climate with 4 seasons. I was thinking iris poudre year round and eau de magnolia for spring/summer due to the fresh citrus notes.

I have a question for y'all. When I first smelled Hibiscus Mahajad, I was in love with it, bc of that powdery note. Then I tried Delina Exclusif, which reminded me of HM, because of that same note. In doing research for Exclusif, people mentioned how Kenzo Flower and Exclusif had similarities, and that's when it all came full circle, because I loved Kenzo Flower in my 20s. I had just forgotten all about it. So now that Demi says Dama Bianca is also similar to Kenzo Flower, where does it fall compared to Delina Exclusif and Hibiscus Mahajad? Would it be worth for me to add it to my collection when I already have the 2 previously mentioned fragrances?

does it smells similar to musc noir? i smelled one of them in the store but i'm not sure which one i smelled but whatever i smelled I WAS OBSESSED so want to know if they are similar but what i remember about the one i smelled , it was fresh at first and then become darker with time and all i can smell is sweet rose so i don't know if this the musc noir or the noir rose
