Arijits advice is so immature. His voice is actually husky voice. Which is medically called a hoarse voice which is due to a gap in vocal chords.. U just can't go and sing. U see the difference between shaan sonu kk kunal they r not husky for s reason. Husky voice like jubin who fakely creates it and arijit who naturally has it due to the gap in vocal chords.
No actually Arijit understands the depth of music more than others that's why.. Every person with no musical knowledge will say that voice matters, but the person who understands music will never say that because he knows about singing skills which includes harkat, meend, murki, range, classical knowledge, etc. There is nothing called good voice, its just like how people refers beauty to white skin people and says the dull skin people ugly... An educated music artist will value singing skills over voice, but uneducated uncle and aunties will make beauty standards like meetha voice is beautiful, etc..

And the thing you are saying about missing notes sometimes, he is a very casual guy as you can see that from his clothes and beard too so yaa sometimes he sings too casually and that's his personal style so that doesn't makes him less. To be honest he is a legend but just because he is still young so old people never accepts it as they lives in nostalgia more than musical knowledge, even when Kishore Kumar was at his peak then he used to be thrashed a lot by fans of Md Rafi as Rafi Sahab was senior and it is in the natural trait of Indians and Pakistanis.
