@@loselot6044 I still don't think this Thor is any better than a Hulk, even Namor and Shang-Chi, while strong, certainly have downsides. I think we're seeing a lot of mobility and damage in some of these newer characters which is really strong, but to make up for it they've got much worse defensive tech generally.
I play Cap1 and Dorm, so thor2 is going to be online with those abilities every turn and it sounds awesome. Can't wait to try him out. I do like the uniqueness of loki's leadership, at first I thought it was just another by to modify leadership and we already have enough of those but it's a very loki themed twist. All the tactic cards seem very fun, might have to brush off my asgard list to see them in action.
I like these characters. Both seem good without being broken. I am liking Loki more than Thor. I would be surprised if this Thor is Avengers affiliated as they have a 6 threat already and he seems to be very asgard focused, but it isn't outside the realm of possibilities. Overall i think they nailed these characters and I am excited to see the other two.
They actually explained the lack of Thor leadership as being because he's spending so much time as a hero of Earth (hence why Loki took over Asgard), so I feel like that can only really point him toward Avengers. Do agree regarding the balance, and I also find Loki more interesting, but both seem fun to play and quite solid.
And people complained about og CGR and Malekith. His stats are like Malekith except he has 1 health more for 1 less threat and access to Odin's Blessing.
Unlike both of the other mentioned models though, he doesn't count skulls offensively or defensively, which is really big for dice averages, so he hits weaker than either model pre-nerf, and dies faster too. He also doesn't have the crazy displacement that CGR has, or the insane mobility Malekith had from turn 1.
And here I thought I was done with buying boxes for a little while. 😅
@@travisskane5459 Yep lol, these guys look amazing (both models and stats-wise)
Thor is going to go crazy on OG Captain America's team 2 power Size 4 Long throw will go crazy
@@loselot6044 Yeah that throw is gonna be really strong, and the turn 1 medium pounce on a medium base is big too
@ZetroxWargaming I know. I thought Namor and Shang-Chi looked strong but this Thor makes me a bit concerned for the health of the game

@ZetroxWargaming He has throws and a size less push and Namor has a LOT of control tech on his spender
This box is so hype. I can't wait to get my hands on it.
@@shanewalker3427 It's gonna be really fun once it hits, so glad to see Asgard getting some new toys!
@@ZetroxWargaming Yep. I was trying to update my Asgard roster over the weekend and there are some difficult/interesting roster choices now.
Dormammu welcomes them.
@@richardanderson6895 Dormammu welcomes all! Thor is probably pretty solid with him, and Loki could be fun for doubling up on skull counting.

@@PureBrawler yeah Dorm and Cap1 are both gonna be fans of Thor. Definitely loving the leadership for Loki, great twist from the usual reroll ones.

@@ZetroxWargaming Yeah that definitely leads me to believe it is avengers then. That is kinda crazy considering
