Yup, it was AMAZING 🤩 but probably better, and safer to travel by bike in winter- not typhoon season 🤣 it was mid 40’s Celsius, and almost 100% humidity 🥵 but ya, blew my mind the beauty! Hope to go back and explore more

14:15 I believe they call it water spinach, it's very popular in Taiwan and similar dish can be found right through South East Asia , every south east Asian countries prepare it in different ways and they all taste great :) its a vegetable that's very easy to cook and easy to make it taste good :)

In hot and/or humid climates, don't know why many riders choose not to wear light colored clothing and helmet to reflect the heat. Can make a huge difference in the comfort factor.
The biggest kept secret in the coffee community is that TAIWAN GROWS THE BEST COFFEE IN THE WORLD!!! I constantly search for great coffee and had many coffees from different parts of the world and when I was in Taiwan, I had the coffee in the region of Taroko National Park, grown by indigenous Taiwanese and it blew my mind! Never have I experienced coffee so naturally sweet, lacking any sense of bitter and so full of flavor. No other coffee comes even close to how incredible Taiwanese coffee is and it is completely ignored in the coffee community.
Just a question.....have you ever tried a motorcycle clip-on sun visor for your helmet? It feels much cooler than your helmet covering your whole face.

this was in September 2022. It was still mandatory by law in Taiwan to wear the mask unfortunately.They only just opened their borders after being closed for nearly 3 years, and only opened to a few nationalities- Canadian being one of them. I even had to do an 8 day quarantine when I entered the country !

Thanks for your tips ! Yes this was a sport top from decathalon, was supposed to help with sweat. But it was too hot and humid I couldn’t replenish my fluids. And unfortunately I was invited to come the wrong time of year but no one told me 😅🫣 and I had to complete tour in under one month. It ended up affecting my health a LOT! Next time I will come in December !
This was sept 2022. Taiwan still had a mask mandate and it was the law to wear them. Canadians being one of them. Unfortunately, as I hate wearing one and can’t cover my nose. The country was still closed to tourists, it had only just opened for a select few nationalities- They even had quarantine and I had to be locked up for 8 days when I arrived !!! Things have relaxed since then.

Your weight is very low and the signs of fatigue on your face are very visible. All travelers stop and take a vacation to recuperate, then return to complete the journey. Why don't you do the same? The journey after that will definitely be really beautiful and wonderful for you and the viewer Do what I told you to regain your vigor and vitality 🙏🙏

台灣大部分地區不下雪，夏天要吃冰來降溫，可以體驗吃冰看看也很好吃，
騎車要注意的就是飲水量要控制，不夠的就要喝到足，充分的休息降溫時間也是很重要，
冬天要注意有時連續下雨，冬天下雨的時候和下雪體感差不多，常常比下雪還冷

看妳有頭痛跟倦怠，或是意識模糊的現象應該是中暑了（通常是汗排不出來或是脫水了）。這樣很危險，嚴重的時候甚至會橫紋肌溶解而導致休克⋯
騎車的時候面臨高溫高濕度天氣的時候，建議要穿排汗的衣服（台灣有買機能性的涼衫，可以穿在機車服裡面讓身體降溫），多補充水跟電解質。萬一已經到達強烈頭痛肌肉痠痛的程度，建議最好找個陰涼的地方多休息，然後再找個地方按摩刮痧，讓肌肉能夠休息還有血液循環保持暢通，這是台灣人自古以來傳統治療中暑的方式，相信症狀很快就會緩解。

@@RosieGabrielle 夏天失去太多水分，可以多喝運動飲料(舒跑、寶礦力)。
有中暑感覺的時候，要再加上喝(便利商店買的鋁箔包)楊桃汁，或者是椰子汁；如果喝現打果汁，那就買西瓜汁。
