Pier 1 commercial!!! How I miss that wonderful store. It was in my town for decades, surviving all kinds of ups and downs, till the lockdowns killed it. Thanks for uploading this beautiful, nostalgic trip back in time.
Wow in ‘95 I was so young and poor I had never even heard of Martha! I didn’t even have a tv for awhile there…but by ‘99 I was starting a family and had my first born and discovered Martha. She taught me how to cook! And how to take pride in my surroundings.
I loved that old home Martha had in Connecticut, she did many T.V. Specials from that old home. Those old shows were so warm and cozy. They were so much more warm and cozy than the new shows Martha does now. I kind a miss that about Martha and her shows now. It always feels like there is something missing. I can see why now, those old shows are what made Martha a domestic homemaker star. Thanks for sharing this with us, it brings back happier times. When life in our country was peaceful at the holidays...P.S. I love the old T.V. commercials left in this video!
I agree completely! I’ll never forget a thanksgiving special she did from the old home.around 1985 or 1986. Nothing inspired me the way that special did! Wish I could find it again.
@@marydevlin3909 I think I know which one you are referring to. I remember at Thanksgiving show where Martha put I think bay leaf under the skin of the turkey. It looked so pretty how she did that. And she showed us all her antique collection of butter turkey molds. And her beautiful dining room set up all for Thanksgiving. She served soup in glass turkey shaped bowls with the lids. I think this might be the show you might be thinking of. Or maybe not, Martha did many holidays specials back then. But I think it's on You Tube. You may have to type in what you're looking for.
Turkey Hill was her home that she brought to life for her family 🦃 Martha Stewart Living was her first TV series ❤️ l loved when her Mother Big Martha would visit 🌹 Wonderful entertainment 🎯
Those were the great ol' days! Sure do miss those holiday specials and Martha's daily shows. Many have tried to imitate, but none come close to her content and aspiring recipes and craft ideas.
When you're poor you watch stuff like this while doing your Dollar Tree Christmas hacks 🙃 I'm not doing much this year other than being grateful and enjoying loved ones company, keeping it super simple Merry Christmas 🎄🕊️🙏💟✝️
I've been hoping to find this Christmas special. We had recorded it at the time and used to watch it every Christmas. This brought back so many memories! Thank you for sharing it! We need shows that feel like this now!
Julia Child recalled the moment when she made a croquembouche with Martha Stewart. She said "Her's looked beautiful, mine looked awful!" I don't think Julia's looked bad at all......sure looked better than the one I tried to make!
What a treasure the two Martha videos are. These old Holiday specials are so comforting. Any chance you have her holiday video (I think it was for pbs from 1990)? She has long hair and she is making potpourri.
The absurdity of all that would be required to reproduce Martha's creations...who has that kind of time and money?! No one I know! Nevertheless, we relished in the fantasy she provided! She said to make the croquembouche 2 to 3 hours before the party...lol...yeah, right! Not everyone has a staff of 500 like you do, Martha! lol
Love the commercials. Really brings you back.
$29,5 for a LandRover. Where have the years gone.
Martha at its best. Bossing people around with majesty
Christmas back then feels so magical and warm. Nowadays feels cold and all about hoarding more stuff
I love to watch the Martha shows. Especially during Christmas! How I miss her shows!❤❤❤
😢I miss the 90s❤

"Big Martha" was such a lovely, gracious person and so practical. Just wonderful. Rest in peace!
Yes! She is just like my own grandmother too.

Agreed. I wish I could relive the old days. I hate the culture as it is now.
Agree!
I think the pretty old houses she had in her background helped a lot with all the beautiful decor...
I wish they would put her back on tv. They show all kinds of old shows.
I just wish life was the way it was back then. Everything seemed so much less complicated!
Loved Martha in the 90s and I still do! Love how she loves Christmas!!!
Not watching anything with the wicked witch Hillary!
The VHS tracking on the bottom makes this even more perfect!
Yes it does.
Boy Martha I remember your shows like they were yesterday Great memories thank you always
She inspired so many people with elegant and taste ❤
When you're poor you watch stuff like this while doing your Dollar Tree Christmas hacks 🙃
I'm not doing much this year other than being grateful and enjoying loved ones company, keeping it super simple
Merry Christmas 🎄🕊️🙏💟✝️
The best Christmas sentiments are what you described! Unfortunately, commercialism can (if allowed) take over Christmas.
I’m sure your family is happy and proud. I wish you the very best this year and every year.
I've been hoping to find this Christmas special. We had recorded it at the time and used to watch it every Christmas.
This brought back so many memories!
Thank you for sharing it!
We need shows that feel like this now!
Love this! I hosted a Martha ornament exchange party that year complete with the sugared fruit stacked pedestals. Thanks so much!
So comforting watching specials from my teens. I keep forgetting how adorable Julia Child was in her elder years.
Loved revisiting this and even the old commercials!
Martha overseeing her sweat shop LOL Thank you for the video!
Great memories. My mom & I never missed a Martha Christmas special.
This brought back wonderful Christmas memories of watching this with my mother many years ago.
I miss those days. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you so much for posting this! I saw this when it aired and have been looking for it for years! I love Julia and Martha making the croquembouche.
Always thought she should have kept doing these specials instead of a daily TV show.
This is so iconic, Martha, Julia, Hillary and Miss Piggy! I'm dying. Thanks for this and Merry Christmas! 😀
Killery? 😱
👹
Is she in this
Thanks for uploading, this was really fun to watch! I really enjoyed the commercials, too. Total 90s nostalgia.
Martha changed a lot, became very sophisticated and distanced herself from the public. Turkey Hill's martha was sensational!
Thank you very much for uploading this.
this video unraveled treasure after treasure!
Merry Christmas,Martha Stewart
Oh man I've been slowly collection these specials for years. Thanks so much for posting this!
Vintage Martha - she was awesome
I loved shows when Martha's mother was on. Every Christmas l make their nut ball cookies
Thank you for sharing this with us 🎄☃️🎄✨
Thank you for a great upload. I so enjoy her older shows.
Julia Child recalled the moment when she made a croquembouche with Martha Stewart. She said "Her's looked beautiful, mine looked awful!" I don't think Julia's looked bad at all......sure looked better than the one I tried to make!
That was so hilarious our entire family was in tears. My dad said Poor Julia, hers looks like a dung heap.
The Celestial Seasonings commercial had me cracking up!
Right? Jeez lady, get a therapist!
3:24 Martha, smizing and looking so fierce when says " 24 inch gauged wire " 🤣
Yes, and then that serve by the cat - not to be outdone! Only a Martha cat 😂
Builder Ben has saved the day, and she does all the work 🤣, she's such control freak 😬
LOVING THIS!!

“It only took 15,000 man hours to make” 😂😂😂
Right!? Martha and her staff of 500 people doing it all for her...makes it all look sooooo easy!
Love Martha Stewart
Hi Martha the Christmas decorations are beautiful they give a warm fuzzy feeling just in time for the holidays possum 💖🌲⛄
Beautiful
🎄🤶🌾🍭🧁🎂❄☃️Merry Christmas!
Martha was much more relatable then….
Yesssssss!!!!
Does anyone know who sings this version of "I'll be home for Christmas"? I tried with Shazam and nothing came up :(
Hillary.... ??? No way... no how! Then or now!
Where is the sound?
Ok miss piggy was right. Ben is a stud.
What about Christmas special where she did the whole thing topless?
Yeah, she's sweet alright
There's no sound
Ugh - food porn and decor porn, designed to intimate the rest of us mere mortals who didn't have a staff of 100 and a budget of millions.
That’s how you took it? relax friend. It’s not supposed to make you feel inferior it’s supposed to inspire you go buy stuff to make yourself

Martha bossy as always.
She knows better than to boss Julia Child around!
Gia is beautiful
Excited until I saw killary was in the show.
The sound quality isn't very good . The show itself is fine it's just the sound that isn't.
To many commercials
What a waste of food. All that fruit is going in the garbage.
This looks like it was recorded in 1965, not '95. My lord technology has advanced briskly, since.
But the quality hasn’t, unfortunately.
This shit, including the commercials made me feel cozy and safe.
It’s an old damaged vhs tape…
@@emilinebelle7811 lol, Martha's gonna protect you!
Martha thinks all we are rich?
Middle class people use to exist. Now it’s mostly just elites and peasants. America has fallen since the NWO.
We have Dollar stores now. You have no excuse. Get busy decorating! 😁
