Hi, Since its been more than a year for this webinar these codes are not working anymore. The reason being, Oanda has changed the API recently to v20 and the new (practice) accounts come only with v20 capabilities. What you can do is follow the concepts explained in this session and build your own code.
Most newbies fail simply because they don't understand how the market works in general or in particular how the market relates to stock or currency pair they entering. Cao Yi you have flexibility to progam anything you want, including massively parallel execution, deep learning. It's virtually impossible to do that in MT.

I have literally typed in all the code in my iPython notebook and rectified all the errors, the code does not seem to be working.

it basically reinvent what metatrader4 has already did. Nothing new.
