I figured out my rainbow colors, thanks everyone... Im going to use the six colors that are in my rainbow wristband 😊 no light blue
lol! I was going to tell you to look at your wristband!! can't wait to see your project! 😁😊
Primary colors of red, yellow, and blue and the orange, green, indigo, violet are blends between so so
indigo is a blueish purple
& violet is a purplish red
Bag-O-Day Crochet lol,the wristband was the first thing I noticed after you took off that beautiful sweater. Can't wait to see what you're making out of those rainbow colors.
Light blue would look great with a pastel rainbow project!😉
Indigo is actually like many have stated a color between blue and purple... so yah the light blue would look off if you had decided to use it.
I often go to thrift stores to find sweaters to unravel, so I can reuse the yarn. My latest finds were an angora sweater, and a baby alpaca poncho 😊
Katy Kowchee I’ve done this too!!
I've done that a few times but my 2 thrift stores are becoming WAAAAY too expensive and 1 is becoming literally commercialized cuz the owners friend has a store somewhere that isn't doing well, (I see y cuz it's junk)
I've found a lot of angora/alpaca
A few cashmere but never get enough to make anything due to my size
Nice!
@@dawnclifford3740 They really are. We used to have a great charity thrift store - the kind where you could get really junky stuff at super low prices on clearance. I miss it so much. Goodwill is expensive in my opinion.
yes, i do so to
I just got to tell you that I think it's so cool that you can be yourself with your husband. My husband would totally be like I'm going to go somewhere else and you have a good time so I think it's awesome that you guys have this kind of relationship thanks for sharing that and the yarn..🙂
I love that you save blankets someone worked so hard on. I bought a plastic canvas and yarn Christmas village at my local thrift store because I felt so bad seeing it just sitting there. It makes me wonder who made it and I hope they know it’s being appreciated.
Oh my!!! That knitted blanket is priceless!! Gorgeous knitting work
I think that you are so amazing! I just love how you save the afghans and restore or use them. Very sweet and you are right, someone put many hours of love into that knitted shawl and it is wonderful that you are saving it. 💕
Thanks for taking us along with you and Mr Bod. I'm doing a knitted dishcloth a week to get my cotton yarn down. Love your videos!
I LOVE how you say, "I need some scissors." ... and you just take a pair and put it in your cart. You didn't even have to think about which one you need. Just like the buttons... there are hundreds of them, and you just go right to what you want and put them in your cart, also. I LOVE IT!!!!!!! I really enjoy shopping with you.
Can't wait to see your rainbow project!
My daughter is pregnant with her "rainbow" baby. Her first little guy was born 4 months early and only lived 15 days. I have lots of baby items planned, but a rainbow blanket or something similar would be great!
Crystal I really enjoyed todays video. You are such a down to earth person.
You are a "REAL" wonder! Love to watch You!!!
Your Goodwill is probably the cleanest I've ever seen lol. Now I gotta go shopping lol
I love your yarn trips with Hubby..I love your interactions...
I so like to watch you go shopping and open new yarn
Always fun to tag along with you while you shop for yarn.
The ending with your husband being silly was my favorite part lol!
I always enjoy your shopping videos. It doesn’t matter how much you buy.
Indigo is more along the lines of brand new denim jeans before being prewashed, acid washed etc. Sometimes they are labeled indigo jeans. Red heart super saver in Royal blue might be close. Hope that helps.
Hi Crystal! Thank you for taking us along on your shopping trip. For me, I like the darker blue for your Rainbow project. The real Rainbow had 7 colours, I think if you don't use all 7, then it is just a bunch of very pretty colours together. I hope you are having an amazing day. God bless
You two are a hoot to watch! 😊
I'm a newer subscriber...I love the variety in your videos. Your unboxings are so informative for a newbie crocheter (I've been at it since June) and your tutorials are awesome to follow along! But, some of my favs are you and your hubby shopping...ya'll crack me up.
Big huge thank you for everything you do! 💕
A new fan from Ontario, Canada
❤😊 Always enjoy your shopping trips with Mr BOD. ❤😊
I remember the day when red hearts was less than $1.00
Yes ! I use to buy yarn for a $1.00 at Woolworth. I was sad when they went out of business!
I love your outings. Shopping, looking, chatting, goofing around. It's all fun. Just like an outing with a friend.
Mr BOD, good choice in books, LOVE Stephen King
Thanks for the trip. I look forward to seeing your adventures. I don’t get out often. Love seeing you and mr.bod enjoying yourselves. 😍
I just love watching you and Mr. bod interact with each other you make the shopping trip worthwhile thanks for sharing💚👍💚
Thank you for sharing your trip with us ❤️ it was very enjoyable and I love the sweater you are wearing looks good on you
You are the coolest crystal I love shopping at thrift stores. Down to earth. And MR bod always happy to see you. Your my favorite couple😊
Eric is such a good sport n shopping with you all the time!your so lucky. My hubby hates shopping
I love Stephen King, his books and the movies. I also love the selection of yarn you have, wish we had it here in Australia
I really missed your goodwill visits. Thankyou Crystal. Xx
1:26 Exactly why I’m particular about who I gift items to. Not all people appreciate the work and energy put into a piece. I still have a scrape quilt made by my grandmother who passed when I was 3 and I also have a granny square blanket that was made by my college roommates aunt. He didn’t like it and I offered to buy it from him. He asked $20 and I grabbed it up. This was in 1982.
Love the spaciousness of your G & W Boutique as I call it....lol...my sister and I have found yarn there on occasion. My best steal was a big bag of beautiful purple mill ends. There were 8 good size skeins. Your Walmart yarn section is much bigger than the local Walmart in my city. I love when ALDI has yarn deals. I was surprised to find some in their store before Christmas and look in the deals section every chance I get. Thanks for taking us along!!!
It looks like you got all the colors of your sweater 💋❤️🙏 your Walmart has a lot of colors and yarn. This is my second trip with you. Have fun with your projects love knitting n crocheting.
Definitely the turquoise blue for the indigo. It matches the vibrancy of the other colors so much better
This was sooo much fun and you and Mr. BOD are adorable. ❤️
Oh that's still fun! Looking forward to see all that rainbow yarn in a project!
You're right Crystal :) Turquoise Blue!! Such a fun excursion with y'all to W. & Goodwill. Thank you!!!
Hi Crystal! I loved that knitted piece that you scored from Goodwill! No matter what it was meant for, I thought it looked lovely, folded diagonally and worn like a shawl! Yep, my Wal-Marts use to overflow with an awesome yarn selection. Mainly I just go for the more color variety of RHSS yarns. Thank you for the shopping trip!😊
Love your good will and walmart shopping trips thanks
So glad you did goodwill. Was just looking back at your videos and wondering when you were going to do goodwill again. And here it is. 🤗
I don't think any of your trips are bad ones - I love the interaction between you and Mr. BOD. I look forward to these videos. 😉
Yay perfect way to end the day looking at yarn with crystal 😁
Lol...look at your wrist band !!!!! Rainbow indeed......I love your shopping adventures.
I always look at my local thrift store for art supplies. I love when I find nice yarn.
I just finished Suspicious Minds yesterday! It was one of those books you cant put down! I loved it!❤❤❤❤
Yes! I'd love most of your shawls in ponchos! Thanks been wanting this done for awhile I just never think to comment!
Thanks for sharing, for your rainbow colored creation, go by the colors in your wristband your wearing, it doesn't look like either of those blues are in it.
We’ve only got a half a row at my Walmart, so to me, your Walmart is loaded! You’ve also got a much better selection of different brands!!
The doll kit is for making a bisque doll like they had at during the 19th & very early 20th century.
Bad Walmart - my Walmart is bad too. Still fun to shop with you. Thanks Crystal
That knitted piece is gorgeous, great save!
Yea, I've MISSED your visiting Good Will videos!! i agree Goodwill has horrible prices for items they get for FREE!! Way to expensive. And my Walmart has horrible yarn supplies and buttons. You and your hubby are adorable and funny!! THANKS sharing
again!!...
Love love Stephen King!!! I love your shopping trips!
Hey Crystal, They just got in some new yarn at my Walmart in NW suburbs of Chicago. Its called "Overjoyed" and they are all really bright colors. Just wanted to share with you.
Thanks for the trip Crystal. We have similar stores to Goodwill, but not usually very large. I am glad you found your rainbow at Walmart. Fun and interesting as always xx
There is much at our Goodwill either. And our Walmart's yarn section has really gone down hill. It's crazy. Looking forward to see what you are making with the rainbow yarn. God Bless Y'all.
What a neat well arranged Goodwill!
I love your thrift store it looks very nice and clean.
Thanks for sharing. I can't wait for you projects and tutorials!
Yea my yarn section is slim to usually . This week though they had more puzzle yarn and name brands .❤️❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It's been cold as hell and snowy here. Love going shopping with you.
Thanks for the outing.🤟👍
Ty for the video of good will and Wal-Mart I enjoy it
Your Walmart is like alway full .. lucky you
I agree with your choice of turquoise for the indigo 🧶🥰
Hi Crystal. You have a VERY nice thrift store I your area. I LOVE my thrift stores!!!
YAY! Another adventure with THE B.O.D.S!! If I lived in your state I'd invite myself out with you!
That pink lightweight knitted blanket was a great save. I've bought handmade blankets/afghans from thrift stores, too.
Turquoise is closer. Maybe a Barbie sized doll. Always love your Goodwill trips!!!
Most Walmart's I've been to around here... their yarn sections have gone downhill these past few years...I remember both sides having yarn and now it's only on one side....
Smalltowncats yes! My Walmart too!!
Yes omg most of my Walmart’s too
They started that when they downsize the dept to make room for the grocery dept
The Walmart here doesn't even have a full side! They have shrunk down to a 1/4 of a side! It's so maddening! I heard that they took a lot of the yarn out to make room for scrap booking! That is like 50 times more expensive than crocheting! It's crazy!
@@susanlynch6209 that's just crazy, but it boils down to how much money they can make
I really enjoy these videos! Thank you for sharing!
Crystal, Missouri Star Quilt Company has a RUclips channel to teach how to quilt, or if the quilt top you bought is very large and you are concerned about it being too big for you to quilt yourself, they have quilting by mail! You can send the quilt top to them and they will finish it for you. A reputable, family owned business, too! Check them out!
Can't wait to see what you make With the rainbow colors Crystal!!❤❤
My Walmart in Greencastle, Indiana is pitiful too when it comes to yard selection. And like you I have to travel about 35 To 45 minutes to my closest Michael's, JoAnn's, or Hobby Lobby.
Love all your videos!
I love books as much as I love yarn and your goodwill has sooo many more.
That is beautiful. It would be nice to fold it and wear it like a shawl. Very nice 👍
Thank you we're in the house all day feels like I got out of the house what you date thank you for taking me to Walmart love you sis
It was fun. Crystal and Erik your the bomb. Until next time
The knitted throw you found is gorgeous. So much work - I am glad you saved it.
I think the throw is actually a tablecloth. 😉😉
@@Pitoonya Made with wool yarn? I would use it as a shawl white watching TV - even if it is tablecloth. lol
Mr. Bod does fine. I never get sick.
Love going shopping with you Crystal and Mr Bod Love seeing what you have in yours stores compared to ours in Australia
Hello when I see those yarn shops, I am in heaven, not anything here, like that x well done
Had a great time!
Your pink throw you found is gorgeous. Might have been a baby afghan. Love your shopping trip.
Crystal! I love your sweater you are wearing!!!
I’m looking forward to seeing what you’ll make with the rainbow yarn. Plus a new wash rag pattern.
I love your jacket! Fun shopping trip!
I love that sweater/jacket you were wearing! I really enjoy your videos.
Thanks for taking us to Goodwill. I love shopping there. You should check on their clearance rack for dresses or coats with neat buttons or zippers. My Goodwill always has a $1 rack that is 1/2 price on Sunday's, and I can always find a nice tank top or something with buttons that are worth more than that, just like you re-purpose the handles off of the purses. Ours usually has some nice back packs, too, that I can use as project bags. I also like getting extra cereal bowls and salad plates there, too, so I don't have to wash dishes as frequently. They don't match my main set, but they are still nice stoneware and sometimes china, so some of it is even nicer than my regular stuff. Thanks again for bringing us along, and have a blessed day!
Yep, my Walmart is pretty lame as well. I knit & found your jacket really cool. I think I'll make one for myself. I always thought indigo was dark blue. The dress kit - you make the doll body and purchase the head.
Hi Crystal, Indigo is a dark blue, halfway between blue and violet but I was just reading on Wikipedia how Isaac Asimov upgraded the rainbow to red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, violet. He said indigo is so close to blue it shouldn't be separate. That bright blue you bought is almost a perfect cyan so I'd go red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, violet and then you can call whatever you make a modern rainbow such and such.
I like the turquoise blue for the indigo
Thank you for the video
Nice to see yarn before I go to sleep so I can dream of it lol
You and Mr.Bond are fun and cute as always
Good Night Crystal
Indigo is a deep purplish blue. Between blue and purple. Both of those two are green-blue or too light. But you can leave indigo out entirely and still be okay for a rainbow, I think 🤔🤫😅
And that pink throw is really pretty , also the doll kit.
I love the colors ❣,i can not wait to see what you are going to creatie.I just have this funny feeling that i better get some rainbow colors🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love you and Mr BOD together❤❤❤
The amount of yarn in your buggy is more than my walmart has
Someone might have told you but the doll stuff came off a collectible china doll that was broken and the wig and clothes were salvaged. It will be fun for your daughter to repurpose it. Nice video. 😊
Hey Crystal and Mr Bod, good video, can’t wait to see what you’re making in rainbow, love your jacket Crystal and love Stephen King, spooky!!!!
That blanket is beautiful. My walmart yarn aisle is a small 10 foot section on one side of aisle crochet & knitting & buttons are all with yarn but only on one side.
Mine too!
Love watching your videos, you are so cool and talented. The doll stuff was probably from a porcelain doll that broke and they deconstructed the stuff off of it. Take care.
I'm excited.. I ordered knitting needles. I'm gonna see if I like knitting too.
I made a huge yarn haul from my goodwill the other day! I am now making an afghan for my brother a sweater for my granddaughter and still tons of yarn leftover.
