There's a bit more info, links to buy, and some examples of work done by an expert on my website here: www.blackflagleathergoods.com/leather-tattoo-machine-21grams-leather-goods/ Thanks for watching!
Tim!!! It's great to see you again! This thing looks really interesting. Thank you for doing this review. Stay well and hang in there. You are appreciated. ❤
Looks fun! Especially for beginners. I've wondered for a few years if something on this order was feasible - especially if future iterations could use dye to "ink" the artwork. For now, I'll stick to traditional tooling. But I will be watching to see where this goes. I bet this would get kids interested in leathercraft!
I know a leather crafter with arthritis who said it's a game changer for him. There's a hidden market there I think too! I think Dennis at 21 Grams tried inking some leather like you described and said it doesn't come out great...
Hola muy buenas eso significa que los accesorios para labrar y dibujar en cuero vale con cualquier máquina de tatuar ver estilo que muestras en el vídeo? Muchas gracias un saludo
Tim: It is so good to see you again. I hope things are going the best they can. (under the circumstances) Love the new tools videos. Very cool. I am not big into to tooling. Like you, I have the basic sets of traditional stamps. I cannot use a swivel knife to save my life. I have made a few 'static' knives that do the same thing. Saw a video by a leather worker named Bigfoot? yeas ago. He hated the swivel knife and had 20 versions of the static types in his video. Again, glad to see and hear you!
Hey, Bruce! I'm doing alright. Up's and downs. The swivel knife is hard to learn! I'm going to give this machine a good shot. Thanks for your support, Bruce. I appreciate it.
@@BlackFlagLeatherGoods I just made some really fast sheaths for my wood carving blades. I want to mark the sides with what knife is in each shealth. I wonder it I can 'write' neatly with the tattoo machine and a wide tip. Can you try to print some words to see how it goes? It would actually get some use instead of using those impossible lettering stamps. Impossible to get them straight.
Thanks for the info! As a tattoo artist I gotta say it's tattoo *machine not gun! Guns shoot projectiles, but these are machines that pushes Needle configurations to inject ink! Gotta spread the knowledge! Tattoo artist are finicky cause machines cost anywhere from 300-1.2k or more and the tattoo machines listed as guns are 20-90 bucks, which scratcher/home tattoo artists use!
Different strokes for different folks I guess. Not something I would buy or use. I'm not a tooling pro either, but this electric "tooling" gun is far from would I would think is useful. Just seeing you use it makes me think that one is far better to spend the time practicing with tools then messing with something like this that is very limited in what it can do. I think I'll just stick to traditional tools.

I can already hear the controversy from all the traditionalists out there! 😉 I frikken love it!! Might have to get my hands on one!
Haha knowing Dennis, he'd love to rattle those cages a bit!
I hope you do! You'd love it! Do some videos if you get one!
I love people who aren’t scared to stir the pot, go against the grain…😏 and ya I forsure would.. I’ll check it out
So far it's been all positive feedback!
I've never really took the plunge into leather tooling, but this looks like a great alternative. I might give this a try.
It's been super fun using this thing!

Thank you! I really appreciate it. And I suspect we'll start seeing this machine pop up all over the place.
So nice to see you back on here! Love the content!
Thank you so much! It's good to be back.
@@BlackFlagLeatherGoods love the hat. Are you based in Toronto?
Not Toronto, but I'm near Vancouver!
@@BlackFlagLeatherGoods awesome! Love seeing Canadian creators on the platform. Thank you for sharing your content!
Hey, thanks for watching it!
This is freaking awesome!
It really is! I have a hunch that these will become a common leather tool soon. It's super fun to use.
Very cool! Thanks for the video! How long does the battery last?
It'll depend on the machine but hours with this one. Thanks for watching!

Hey thanks for watching! The cartridges should work for any machine that accepts those type of cartridges.

Thanks for all the info. Two suggestions: closer with camera and focus.
Thanks for watching and the suggestions! I forgot to turn off auto focus 🤦♂️

Like you said, it's not for everyone. I appreciate you watching though!
Not a huge fan reminds me of fast fashion.
Thanks for checking out the video either way!
It's not a tattoo gun it's a tattoo machine a gun shoots something
Haha I was waiting for this comment. I know this. I have no idea why I called it that in the video 🤷♂️
