I like that the Sharks realize when to go out when the entrepreneur has enough sales to support themselves or when their equity ask would be too much for them. People say they only invest when sales are very high, but this is a prime example of when they save their money for people that actually need it.
That's really not it. They just want to own like half of every company that comes in so they can drain them for all the profit their worth before going out of business.

I respect her transparency here. She’s basically saying in order to be motivated to throw in her full effort, she’d want to be a quarter-owner. Since this business is already well-established with a lot of sales, she admitted right away that becoming a quarter owner is unreasonable in this case, so she bowed out on her own. This was perfectly reasonable, and shows that she respected the business and didn’t want to insult the owner by offering an outrageous deal.

I actually own one of these prep decks and it has helped so much, especially with recipes that need to come together quickly. The trays have nice lids that you can store in your fridge too. I really love it.
He just dropped his customer acquisition costs with this appearance. This Sharks missed big, this guys essentially semi pro prep station which included tools and storage that is easily folded and mobile don't realize that this product not just has the potential to be in households but also as kitchen equiptment as well, and the mobile part makes it great for catering and BBQs and cookouts etc. The fact that they have that many sales with only being USA based in pretty crazy, this company does have the potential, not just for this product but other functional kitchen organizational tools.

I bet professional chefs must have something similar if not the same for prepping or storing their ingredients before putting everything together for the dish. Not in my kitchen! I get everything out and ready before I start cooking. My utensils, pots and skillets are put on the stove so I can add the food in them and I wash dishes as I go so there's very little cleanup after dinner.

Millions in sales doesn't always mean you'll get a shark in an awesome deal. Sharks are top of the food chain and you've got to pay a premium. Nobody got hurt here though which doesn't happen too often in Shark tank! All parties were respectful of each other.
Sometimes the sharks should concede a little. They're absolutely ridiculous sometimes. They've ended up turning down several deals that not only met but exceeded the entrepreneurs projections. They've lost A LOT of money by being greedy at times.
