Dasmesh Sports Club is a community-driven sports organisation founded in 2013 to address the lack of opportunities for children with Indian backgrounds in local soccer clubs. Initially focused on engaging youth in social and active activities, the club formed a Football Victorian League team in 2018 (under the name 'Lynbrook Falcons'), quickly expanding from one team to 17 teams, including both male and female squads, by 2024.
With over 300 juniors players, experienced and licensed coaches from clubs like Melbourne City, the club has become the fastest-growing soccer club in Southeast Melbourne. The club promotes inclusivity, welcoming kids from all cultures, and offers additional sports like netball, basketball, and tennis. It boasts modern facilities and a commitment to fostering a healthy lifestyle through organised events and training.
The club's success is supported by dedicated volunteers and generous community sponsors.
