Adding Mercury being retrograde in Aries has added an even clearer picture of all of this for me. It’s like drawing back an arrow in a bow. We needed tremendous strength to pull the arrow back and Jupiter/Uranus was the most taught point. The full moon and Mercury direct will make the target clearer, and we can finally shoot.

This moon is conjunct my mercury and also conjunct my partners Venus in Scorpio and opposite my mars in Taurus. So for me it feels like a blossoming of what was seeded last April during the solar eclipse on the 29th degree of Aries. Plus during the eclipse portal this year we came back together for a wedding which was great for us when we were alone in our room but it felt like other people kept coming between us when we were in public. I see a possible death of the independent self and maybe the birth of a new self that is in loving intimate romantic relationship with another human being but I also am aware of Neptune's possible illusion while also being aware of the wisdom I have learned through the astrology. You can highlight any profession and find a podcast for it with claims of all knowing knowledge and omniscience. Neuroscience, farmers, trolls.. I could swear even Screech from saved by the bell is an influencer (truther. If you know the reference you know what I’m talking about). Many of them incorporate astrology but it’s the more influencer side that’s even complained about in the Astro community. IMO, you can just as easily make the case for Mars-Neptune, and Mars more generally, not as necessarily “beating the war drum,” but as resistance to brutality/vi0lent occupation in the name of building a better future for generations to come. Or in the name of destroying(Mars) a system that’s built on huge differentials in power (Mars) so something new can be forged (Mars). I grew up in a family who had relatives who fought to establish the Republic of Ireland, for example, + it was pretty vi0lent, but it wasn’t vi0lence intended to control + coerce, but in service of destroying colonial rule (which was horrifically vi0lent even tho it said it was colonizing in order to help the lazy, ‘dumb’ Irish). To me, this happening in Pisces feels like getting real about the spiritual or philosophical values a country, organization, or individual professes: just bc someone’s *says* they’re compassionate or are committing actions bc they’re trying to secure peace doesn’t actually mean that that’s what they’re doing, you know? The illusion can be coming from them pretending to be something they’re not. And I’m not talking about current events necessarily, just a tale as old as civilization i guess. There seems to be a constant push-pull between what we idealize and want to be true vs how it plays out in reality. On a personal level, I’ve seen this play out in my own life when I’ve given the benefit of the doubt to people bc i wanted to see the best in them. I believed so much in repair + not ‘disposing’ people that i stayed in unhealthy situations out of ‘honor.’ But that wasn’t me acknowledging that sometimes, people can lie and deceive you. Not all of course! But sometimes! In my life, Mars has shown darkness people are capable of, but also gives the strength to separate from those challenging things to find pple who are more aligned but also to manage expectations. I do wonder if love + light spirituality will get a revamp after the malefics go thru Pisces-and hopefully, ideas around what compassion sometimes requires will change? Bc it’s one thing to say you’re compassionate, but another to make tough choices in the name of that compassion. Just my thoughts. I have a lot of malefic energy in my chart, so I usually worry that i say controversial things without even intending on it, bc in my mind, having challenging conversations can lead to actual peace that benefits the collective. But I also know that Mars-Neptune topics can be touchy, sensitive, polarizing subjects! I love that you can read the planets coming together in so many different ways. I love hearing about everyone’s different takes-everyone has wisdom to share, and I love that so much about being in the Astro community.
