Hi Nitrojoe! Thanks for the video! I found this because I got to the point where I was stringing up the exact replacement material and was coming up short on the bungee cords. I will retry it using your recommendations. One other way could be anchor the bungee the same way but only string 1 string until all 4 areas are done, then it will stretch easier? Also, I have seen someone using zip ties to pull the material tight, making it easier to pull the bungee cords thru. Finally, I taped the tips of the bungee (with painters tape that is easy to remove) to the cord so they don't keep getting in the way while stringing it up. Thanks again! Its raining here now too in San Diego and I have airplanes flying over so I will not be making a video!
Thanks! I just wasn’t sure how to get rid of that rivet. It looked difficult and dangerous, but it was simple and took 10 seconds. For people who have this same chair - 1/4in drill bit to get rid of the rivet head, and a punch tool or other slim metallic tool to get the rivet out. Then a 5 millimeter diameter bolt with a length of 30 millimeters. Secure the bolt with a nylon lock nut. Or, as shown in the video, take a longer bolt and secure with two regular nuts. No need for a rivet tool - they don’t sell those thicker rivets anywhere. Good luck y’all.
Thank you kind sir....I was ready to pitch my chairs....but being >70 yo I checked Amazon and your RUclips video...I plan on replacing mine... Oh btw...really nice deck
Ordered one from Amazon and it was off. There were 3 holes higher than where the loop goes so it would’ve been without a string and it was too tight. I got 17” wide and 63” long isn’t that standard size

So zipties are your 3rd hand. I imagine you use a hand full on each side and threading it should be a lot easier, keep everything In place and what not
@@nitrojoeZ18 no worries! I got a lot of my questions answered from your video. But I am still working on one other dilemma. I have "regular" zero gravity chairs, not the type that have the fabric that goes all the way down the chair where the calf and lower legs rest. Like a regular lawn chair. I am gonna have to figure out what to do with the extra fabric, unless I can find the fabric in shorter lengths. Thanks for your video.
Thank you! I was about to throw away the timber Ridge ones I got at Costco. I had no idea you could do this. You just saved me tons of money!
I really enjoyed watching your video. If our things are repairable, that's the best way to go. Plus there is satisfaction in handling it ourselves. 👍
@@tunein2life681 yes there is. My frames were in great shape so I decided to replace my liners. Still holding up great. Tks for watching
This video was very useful. I thought return back which I bought from Amazon. After seeing this video, I can do it myself. Thank you so much Nitrojoe.

Background noise not a problem. Need a mic while you move around to overcome the background noise.
Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching. I'm still learning 😌 🙂

That fabric looks really thin
No not at all. Way better and more durable than what was on it. Plus it allows the water to go through it. Tks for watching
Simple repair. Buy another one and door be poor.
not the point. i can afford another. just showing the viewers they can be repaired.
very hard to hear you in the first 5 minutes.
Sorry I'm a rookie what can I say
