Yeah Dennis we’ve swapped weather with you this year in East Texas !! I did manage to get a good third cutting of 46 rolls and 2600 squares and Fertilzed and watered then early frost came and finished my hay season for the year
Good morning Dennis! Abundance prevents idle hands, lol. It also makes for long days, but you seem content with it. I'll miss the baling videos until they begin again in spring. Thanks for the ride-a-long.
Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early or latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
Thanks forthe mention Dennis put a smile on my face. Now I have to ask how did the 5711 handle the mower, ok i hope ? Next thing I will be looking out for is the snow plough and blower on it . Mike
Well the way I figure it, Dennis, if a man weren't prepared to square bale and at the same time he's hating round bales, a fella could probably make some triangle bales and sorta love what he hates doin. Kinda like takin the middle ground, if you know what I'm sayin.
It was a little tricky would be hard to explain. I did use the factory wiring already on the loader. Bought the right plug to fit factory. Used my own rocker switch put it in a factory hole to the left of the steering wheel.
@@DLHFarms Thank you for the reply, I did receive my tie grabber about a week ago it will be one of my winter projects. I plan to use it on 2 different tractors a 5115R and 5125R it looks like I have plenty of options to hook to I just want to make it look like it suppose to be there. I think you do good work adapting all of your implements. Good to see you making videos again.
Hello Dennis If I can ask, How much you charging per Square Bale, and what you getting for a Round Bale. $175.00 for a Round Bale in Drought areas like Texas what I've been hearing, and 8 to 12 for small squares. I'm selling my small squares for 4.50 Hope all is well Dennis 👍🏻

That baler you talk about with a notch in it is called a big square baler lol good vid keep them coming
I have never had a square bale roll off any hill, LOL
No market for them here nobody wants them.
Thought for a moment Dennis, that you were going to say, "I'd rather have a juicy steak than a dry old cockroach!" 😆
Bahaha
Hay, Hay, Hay makes my day.
Good video. send some of your rain to South-Central, VA. We average about .20" ever 10 days.....
I sprayed SEA-90 all my hay fields this year and it up my hay production by 35%
Good video
Round bale scotch….gotta see that one and I could use a bunch of em!

Yes it did good with the mower even on the steep ground. It does have a little it of a tune and it does good but still not as strong as the Deere.
When the 5711 gets a few hundred hours on it could get a few more hp
Mike @@DLHFarms
@@mikesavage9325 probably not it’s already got 30 extra
Dennis enjoy video, what is the Mic you use and also the cameras on the tractor.
DJI mic and GoPro hero 9 camera
How do you like the electronic joystick with the tie grabber compared to the regular joystick
I like both but I feel like I’m smoother with the regular joystick.
Bring on the snow
What's the brand of your pull behind box scraper? Is it Durabilt or Storbel? You told me once but I forgot.
I think it’s SFI
Do you have to alternate the packs and off set them with the tie grabber or do you just stack em up on the trailer
I always alternate the tie bales each layer. It’s not really necessary with the tie grabber but I still do it.
@@DLHFarms you’re my yoda when it comes to the Kuhns lol thanks for the reply
Geez Dennis . Looks like u need to employ a farm hand or two with all that work you have to do . 😅

How did you wire up your tie switch on the John Deere I ordered KN612F for next year .
